Neh - Hungry (listen for the N sound in the cry)

Owh - Tired

Eh - Needs to be burped

Eairh - Lower wind pain (from lack of burping)

Heh - Uncomfortable (too hot, too cold, wet diaper)

Listen for the most prominent cry 

Your baby does not cry for no reason.
