Loves it when you groan at his bad puns. However, if you laugh, youāll see his eyelights flash. Was thatā¦ hearts? Donāt bother asking, heās already looking away.
Super chill and isnāt at all ever jealous if you happen to laugh at someone elseās bad/good jokes. The fact that heās staring unblinkingly at them while holding an arm around your waist doesnāt say anything. He just wants to be a part of the conversation, thatās all. Donāt mind the aggressive puns, or that heās trying really hard to make you belly laugh.
Laugh at his jokes when heās feeling jealous (heās not jealous) and youāll see the invisible tension leave his bones.
Definitely gives you cuteness aggression because heās just so round and smallā¦ Heās not really that small. Heās almost the same height as you, but the roundness still stands. You often need to hold his skull just because heās so cute. His smile noticeably lifts whenever you do this, though his sockets will remain relaxed.
His eyelights are dead giveaways whenever heās feeling strong emotions, especially romantic ones. They literally blossom within his sockets. He might as well have hearts popping out of his skull for all to see whenever he looks at you.
Loooves it when you carry him. He may only be a little bit shorter than you, but heās surprisingly light to carry. He acts as if heās too lazy to walk places and that youāre the best person around for when he needs a five-minute nap. Carry him. Hold him. Itās a stupid excuse to touch you but it works so who cares.
Secretly afraid youāll get bored of him because heās lazy and doesnāt always want to do exciting things. He thinks a romantic night is when you two cuddle on the couch with some takeout and a cheesy movie. The only reason those thoughts doesnāt consume him is because you hold him so tightly when youāre together like this. Heās resting atop of you, and your arms are so soft and warm, and the beating of your heart soothes him greatly.
He could die a happy skeleton to the sound of your heartbeat.
Kissing his skull during this moment and saying that you love him will make him blush so badly you can feel the heat through your clothes. Donāt allow him to try and escape the soft, mushy feelings. Keep him trapped and āattackā him with kisses and love. Heāll melt soon enough.
He usually likes to watch when youāre outside tending to that pretty garden youāve worked so hard on perfecting, but one day he didnāt and was surprised when you asked him to come outside. Imagine his surprise when you showed him a hammock beneath the large tree near the edge of the garden, perfectly placed beneath the shade, and close to the bird fountain for some soft water sounds. You were beaming with pride for making him a ādesignated outdoor nap spot.ā
He blurted out āplease marry meā right after. His face exploded and yours did too. Still, heās glad he didnāt teleport out of embarrassment and shame, because you blurted out āYes!ā almost just as quickly. Heā¦ didnāt know if you were serious, at least not until you tackled him and kissed him so much on his teeth that he truly did feel like he was going to explode. He couldnāt resist kissing you back.
He didnāt manage to hide the literal heart eyes that time.
He loves you for being so understanding about how he struggles with depression and motivation, and how heās always so tired. You donāt mind. You do kind things like make him comfortable places to sleep, and you do it with a smile and a kiss. You also often wake him up with a cup of coffee or with a snack too, just to help give him some energy. Stars, his Soul is going to burst one day, it wonāt stop swelling with warmth and love.
Will get lost in your eyes on a daily basis. Yeah, he knows his smile becomes goofy. Thatās the effect you have on him, love.
He didnāt cry when you were getting married. He didnāt cry during the vows. He didnāt cry during the photoshoot where you smiled so much, he was afraid your cheeks would hurt. He did cry at the end of the day when it was just you and him in bed, and it wasnāt pretty. He broke down. You thought he had a complete mental breakdown, he was downright sobbing and gasping for breath, and he couldnāt speak but he was clinging to you for dear life.
He just canāt believe that heās this lucky. That you actually married him. It feels like a dream, and heās afraid to wake up. All you can do is hold him and assure him that, yes, itās real, and youāll be by side forever. It just makes him cry even more, but he will eventually settle down. The glass was just too full, and he couldnāt keep it down anymore.
You reassure him that itās okay to cry, and you donāt think less of him. Heāll just stare into your eyes as you tenderly wipe the tears away before kissing below his sockets; two featherlight touches of your lips.
That night he sleeps so well he may as well have died, but when he wakes up in your arms the day after, heās glad to be alive.
