Ooh congrats! I thought you wanted Conquest? But yeah, there’s more background with the Nohr siblings!!! I definitely recommend watching a bit of Conquest if you can, although tbh end of Birthright gives you a lot of characterizations for them too.

I’m planning to get conquest on Eshop cuz its cheaper? I whimped out about difficulty haha. Alot of money to spend on one game tho orz

Well, there are different difficulty levels so if Conquest gets too difficult, you can always tone the level down mid-game. Idk if you have the option where you are, but I got my friend to order it for me on Amazon but since he has prime, apparently there was a 20% discount so it was only 32 for me, and then another 20 -> 16, so overall, it should only be like 48 for two.

I'm in Singapore! Buying a US card here is a bit pricey because of them jacking up the price. 76 dollars for 50USD. I think I may get conquest -> revelations eventually but will skip out on the DLC

well revelations in a week, i’ve played conquest like 3 times and i’m pretty much done with that game and will just be going to that next week

i also have no money, so i just watched the storyline of birthright on youtube lol

overall, i like birthright’s story better (it was sadder somehow) while conquest’s character relationships better (cause i’m all for Team Nohr), cause even in birthright, i felt more attached to the nohr siblings and like they cared about kamui more?? cause they actually grew up with him/her

i also did not expect to like camilla as much as i did, like i really love her cause she’s supposed to be super maternal and cares about her siblings. and elise too, she’s such a cinnamon roll. leon was, he was interesting story-wise definitely but his supports with the avatar were eh. marx was really interesting though and i ended up liking ryouma more too. takumi - yeah, opinions can varying differently depending on which game you’re playing. i didn’t really hate him in conquest cause tbh, he had every right to hate the avatar; i just felt really bad for him and i still did in birthright. unfortunately, i didn’t really care for sakura and hinoka tbh ;; i thought i’d like hinoka a lot too, shame.

cyrus/silas was an a++ character though, and i really liked kaze. liked joker better than i expected too (i wasn’t very fond of him cause uh… i immediately got sebastian vibes for some reason and i hate kuroshitsuji) but thankfully he’s not a creep

lazwald and odin’s a-support was really, really great too and even if i honestly don’t like awakening much, all the callbacks to it were great. although in awakening, while i cared about the kids much more than the adults, i don’t really care about the kids here tbh, except like soleil so far. aaand uh, i think they fucked up foleo’s paralogue dialogue in the localization, he’s kinda an asshole. tbh, my feelings about the localization are lol.

still wish there was dual audio for valshe hahaha
