I think this was the moment that fully solidified Destiel for me. We just spent a whole season with Dean drinking instead of admitting he was sad his only friend died after betraying him, like on a cosmic level. He doesn’t even talk to Sam. Like any other season before this, any other person, this scene cuts away after the third gif.

But no. He loses Cas, realizes he will fight literally every monster in history to keep Cas around, loses him again anyway, and then miraculously gets him back, and he decides “No. I am going to Show Up™️ and we are going to talk about Feelings™️. I am not going to take you being here for granted again.”

This is the first time Dean voluntarily starts a major chick flick moment without any moment of dread or hesitation or resistance. This was the first time I saw Dean dive in to a healthy conversation. And I realized “OH. Cas is gold for him actually.” and I was SOLD.

Quilted Portraits No. 1 of Baby, the Impala

17” x 17” cotton fabric (primarily Cherrywood Fabrics)

Like my first portraits (x) and second portraits (x) of Sam and Dean, these quilts use a technique called paper piecing, where you print the pattern on paper and then sew through both the paper and the fabric. This method allows for very precise piecing and tiny, tiny pieces of fabric.
