Are you or do you know anybody willing to teach a newbie about a Buddhist path? I know chakras and the eight fold path and four noble truths but I would really like to have one on one time with someone to teach me
Hi, I personally am not a Buddhism leader\teacher but it is a very common thing to seek out a Buddhist guide. There are many courses online to learn more about the Buddhist lifestyle but unfortunately I do not know much about their authenticity.
I would recommend looking in your local area for a Buddhism community group as I have found some in my and a few other local areas and you never know whom you may meet who could help you.
Sorry I couldn't be more help, good luck!

Hi! I just found your blog and It’s so cool. I am considering converting to buddhism so could you guide me on what concepts I should know about or research about. Also do you actually pray to Buddha? Is he some sort of deity? Thanks ❤️
Hi! Thank you so much that means a lot.
Of course I would be happy to help you, it’s awesome that you are thinking of leading a Buddhist life.
Some branches of Buddhism see the Buddha as a deity and perhaps pray to him but I personally see him as more of a spiritual leader that I have chosen to guide me onto a righteous path of life.
In terms of what concepts to research, I would start with the basics; the life of Prince Siddhartha (The Buddha), The Four Noble Truths, The Three Jewels, The Wheel of Life, The Five Hindrances, Karma, Rebirth, The Noble Eightfold Path, The Six Perfections and Meditation.
There are many more basic principles to start with but I would recommend researching those concepts first and most likely other ideologies will stem from them.
If you need anything else that I can help with don’t hesitate to let me know! Good Luck!

Any advise for a new buddhist? I am a minor, I live in the U.S., and my family are christians.
Hi!It’s good to hear you’re embracing the Buddhism lifestyle! My main piece of advice for new Buddhists is research. Try and absorb as much information as you can about Buddhism. There are so many different branches of Buddhism, so many different ideals and practices that will appeal to you more than others. It’s about finding the branch that speaks to you and deepening your understanding of that particularly branch. You can never know too much about Buddhism so try different books, web pages, documentaries etc. to help broaden you knowledge. If there are any issues with your parents not being supportive or not understanding your Buddhism faith, I would recommend sitting down with them to help them understand it is more of a lifestyle choice than a religion and it may not affect your previous religious beliefs. Some people believe in God but follow Buddhist ideals. Reiterating your seriousness in following the Buddhist religion and maybe helping them understand the fundamental beliefs of Buddhism should help them support you.Good luck! Any other questions feel free to ask. C xo
Hello, I recently encountered with your blog, Such positive energy you give out ! I really enjoy it. I have a problem with myself. Its all about peace, love, and being positive. My problem is in my mind. Everything that I say or do to others is almost always positive, I think. I don’t like judging, and being rude etc..but my mind just likes to be all those things when seeing others. Is there a way of changing that ?
Hello! Thank you so much I’m glad you enjoy my blog, it means a lot. I’m glad to here you give out positive energy to others, that’s a good thing so don’t be so hard on yourself. In terms of the mind and behaviour/attitude to things, it is always almost changeable. From my perspective, I feel the more you consciously try to change your attitude the easier it will become and the more natural it will be. For example, if you see someone and instantly mentally judge them about their clothes, be aware that you think that and think something positive about them. So you could see someone and think “what they are wearing is awful” but if you catch yourself thinking like that just think of a positive thing about that person such as “oh that person must really enjoy that outfit, they look happy and they are just being themselves”.I believe by correcting your thoughts once you realise you are being negative towards someone or something, you subconsciously start to think more positively after a while. The best you can do is to try and change your attitude to others and I believe you can become more mentally positive to others in no time.Hope that helped!Good luck! C xo
