Hi there!

I’m looking for a quite specific fic I read few months ago… I’m pretty sure I bookmarked it or something, but I can’t find it and it’s been a long time since I want to re read it. So I’m letting you all know the details I remember in hopes someone has read it too.

Buck, Maddie and their family (Margaret and Philip (?) ) are some kind of deities, Gods and Goddess. Daniel included, but he kind of died or become human and died…

Anyways, Eddie is giving up in Afghanistan but he really wants to come back home to Chris, as you all know. That’s when he hears a voice calling for him to wake up. Fast forward, that warm voice saved him.

Buddie meets as usual, BUT again, at the rescue in episode 03x15, Eddie literally loses his breath at the well and is a warm breeze and voice that guide him to the exit and saves him once more time.

We, readers, know that Buckley parents are in the crowd, conjuring an spell to kill Eddie so Buck would come back to their family and forgot about that silly dream of live as a human being.

I forgot to mention Buck and Maddie hadn’t met each other for a long time before Buck joining the LAFD and when Maddie gets together with Chimney, it’s so funny because they have to discuss all the demigod thing…

I hope some of this rings a bell somewhere !!

Question: for the "truth spells" recs, are you including truth *serums*? So there's the element of having to tell the truth, but not magical? As I'm looking through the fics I was thinking of for this, I think nearly all of them are the 'accidentally-dosed-with-an-unknown-chemical-on-the-job' variety, and I wasn't sure if those would count!

i’m looking for a fic where buck gets a head injury or concussion and stays with eddie who takes care of him. there’s one scene where buck keeps making tea but forgetting and leaving cups behind without drinking them and eddie finds him sitting outside confused one morning after following the trail of tea cups. thanks!

Connor and Kameron die and Buck adopts the sperm donor baby (who is roughly 3-5 years old) except they ignored canon and made her a girl. I can't remember if she's left to Buck in their will or he chooses to adopt her himself. I remember at the start of the fic she's staying with a friend of Connor and Kameron's whose house she was at when they died (I think it was in a car accident but I'm not sure) but she can't take her in permanently as she already has kids of her own (possibly twins?)

Other random things I remember - her having a birthmark similar to Buck's but on her arm and when she mentions it he has a conversation with Eddie about her figuring out that he's biologically her dad. Also, at one point Buck is sick/injured and Eddie tries to drop her off at Connor and Kameron's friend's house, just for a few hours, but she freaks out when he tries to get her out of the car because from her point of view it's means Buck's dead/dying, because when her parents died she was dropped of at the same person's house and then never saw them again. When Eddie realises why she's upset he doesn't drop her off and they go somewhere else together instead.

It's a really long multi chapter from what I remember and I think Buddie doesn't happen until right at the end or at least close to the end.
