The nice people at Budsies were kind enough to revise my Leeonis order and fix his nose and ears. They did lots of other tiny improvements too and he looks super great. Now Iāve got one to display and one to photograph. (Or shove into peoples faces when theyāre looking kind of down. Thatās usually what I do with him. No one can frown at a fish kid.)
How did you get them to fix it? They refused to fix mine and yours are only minor fixes. Mine was missing entire colors and patterns.
I had to pay for another one and reference my previous order number. They were kind enough to offer me a coupon for being a repeat customer. Perhaps your characters/creations coloring was too complex? You could try again, but you will probably need to buy a whole new order like I did. This little guy has yellow stripes on his cheeks but they left those off both times probably due to his head and face being pretty complex to sew already, which I understand and heās great anyway. What image did you send them?
Itās on my blog. I think my main issue was it didnāt even look like a cat and the legs had stripes that just didnāt get included (similar to the ones around your characterās wrists, so they can do them).
Replying on my other blog. Hmm, maybe they were rushing orders out when you ordered. The markings on your ref sheet seem pretty complex, but the fact that it didnāt even really have cat like proportions really sucks! D= I think it depends on what artist you get, sometimes they turn out better than others. Like the embroidery on my first budsie isnāt as clean as the second. If you wanted to try again, or try a plush artist, Iād suggest a more simplified design. Thats really a shame. I think there newwer stuff might be better since theyāre more established? Your budsie didnāt have a tag, which makes me think they were probably rushing to fill orders. Might have been during their Shark tank orders?
I know it was complex, but the stripes on the legs really werenāt and should have been included. I am getting an artist on dA to make a proper one now.
The worst part was really the customer service. They refused to admit anything was even vaguely wrong with it, and I even spoke to the owner of the company. They refused to answer why they didnāt put stripes on the legs, sew the matching line that was missing on the head, or put tufts on top of the ears.Ā I posted it on their Facebook page and they took it down, though, which definitely shows there was an issue with it. I didnāt buy a new one because they proved that they couldnāt even make it look like a cat and werenāt willing to create the non-complex markings.
