So I finally went around reading all the Senor Funtastic articles
.... two months ago ! In June ! and just DIDN'T post about it . (gun appears in my hand) so heres a few thoughts before i go and blow myself up.
Really fun, really cutes, very charming!!! Enjoyed Funtastic very much so far, love the shitty knockoff vibe they got going on for an already insane company . When you got me thinking Wondertainment is the sane one in a story I start getting giddy and jumping all over the place eheheheh
Favorites so far have GOT to be Señor Fluff & Señor Taste. Taste is very sweet, its a cute little bittersweet article and the good ending was a nice save from what would've otherwise been just a really bad-spirited storyline. Fluff was ... REALLY unexpectingly beautiful. It balanced its comedic aspect and the soft quiet parts pretty good in my opinion, left me feeling with that gaping maw of warmth in your chest after watching an old holiday film. anybody else feel empty after a good movie but like , in a nice way???? it sounds weird when i say it outloud
A LOT of daddy issues in this one holy shit. guess any Little Misters-esque anomalies are gonna have complex relations to their creator+manufacturor gawd damn, REALLY interesting to note down for a future Little Misters breakdown. A lot of the same beats from several other Mister articles are played out , grief and guilt and anger and melancholy over the state of being abandoned by a loving God, not something you'd expect from fucking Professor Funtastic oKAY man.
Señor Pig was ...... REALLY depressing. It felt so, so miserable , in a good way, its like amplfying the quiet tragedy of the Little Mister's existence, the taking of life to create the simulacra of life, losing your selfhood at the whims of somebody looking for a quick buck. Neither Pig, Man, or even a functional Mister/Señor. Pig is just .... like that. forever.
Señor Hole (heh) has a LOT of implications in terms of what exactly Funtastic is in relations to Wondertainment, like, whedre the fuck did they get WONDERTAINMENT of all companies to sign off on a group thats clearly mimicking their likeness & utilizing their own merchandise in a manner that is , and I quote, "appalling". They appear to have been funding Funtastic's projects, so the question is Why? is Funtastic a subsidiary, a Wondertainment backed start up, some kind of nepo-baby industry plant from an estranged family member, or some secret fourth option???? would that explain the abundance of negative paternal figures shown throughout the Tiny Señor line????

chipped away at an interp for Wondertainment from the SCP 6879 Article during last month's artfight purely for rendering practice (CW FOR HEAVY ABUSE THEMES IN THE LINK) , I doubt I'll ever come back to them for personal reasons aside from a few heavy pieces I wanna save 4 later, but #whatevar ! needed to check one more wondertainment design off da list
