"Spin me!" Tuffnut said as he walked over with his arms wide open, a blindfold tied lazily around his head to cover his eyes. When he stopped walking he was noticeably not facing the other completely, indicating that he really couldnt see a thing from underneath the blindfold.

Open Starter for all Hiccup RPers

"Hey Hiccup!" Tuffnut called to get the others attention. "Have you ever heard of the bounce effect?" He asked as he turned to the other, making sure to keep his hands behind his back.

“Well this is a fine mess you got us in…”

“How would you consider an ‘unfine’ mess to be like?” Tuffnut asked her. “Like, do you mean fine, as in small, in which case an unfine mess is a huge one, which im totally up for making, by the way.. Or do you mean a good mess, meaning there is in some way and some how a bad mess?” He clarified.

“Please don’t make things even worse, Tuffnut. We need to find some way out of here… It’s not like we can stay here forever, and I most definitely don’t WANT to stay here forever.”

Astrid let out a loud sigh. This never would have happened if she was with Hiccup, but Hiccup went off on a mission with Fishlegs. Thus, she was left with Tuffnut and Ruffnut, but the group got separated in the forest and now here Astrid and Tuffnut were stuck at the bottom of a hole.

“How bout rock climbing, that could work” Tuffnut suggested as he moved closer to the wall of the hole. He felt around the wall’s surface for anything to grab on to but nothing was protruding or solid enough to climb on.

Tuffnut tried grabbing on to a piece just above his head but he had barely put any weight or force on it before it crumbled beneath his hand. “Alright then, maybe not.” He concluded as he pulled his hand away from the wall.

Astrid shook her head, sighing slightly as she thought about what a predicament she was in. She looked around the hole, trying to think of some way she could get out. There seemed to be a rock jutting out from the dirt about 7 feet above the two of them, perhaps if…

“I think I have an idea, Tuffnut. One of us will hoist the other one up until they can grab onto that rock up there… From there one of us should be able to get a solid footing to get up out of the hole. Then that person finds something they can lower down here to get the other person out!”

Astrid stretched her arms above her head, bending her knees as if she was about to get into a sparring match.

“Now… who wants to do what?”

“Well, that depends… How much do you weigh? Are you lighter than me?” He asked.

She turned to him and glared, a rising feeling of wanting to punch him in the gut. But she knew that, if they wanted to get out of this they had to work together. She sighed, “I’m guessing you weigh less than me… You’re pretty scrawny.”

"Yeah, sure-Wait, Scrawny? Have you forgotten i'm not Hiccup? I'll have you know that this is pure muscle!" Tuff said as he tried to flex his muscles, but failed to visibly see any, face falling as he realised.

"Whatever! Anyway, get down and I'll climb up." He said, changing the subject.

"Hiccup is a masochist, pass it on." Tuff whispered as he watched the other interact with Astrid in a strange mix of violence and affection that he's only seen with them.

I've been stuck in bali since saturday cause of an ash cloud from a volcano close by and haven't been able to secure a way home since then as multiple flights my mother has tried to get us on have been canceled, so i'm not likely to reply to threads any time in the next week or so. "I just learned something new today" Tuffnut started. "if you ever wanna know if somebody put copper sulfate in a pool just wait for me to push in Ruff and see what colour her hair turns." " Has most definitely got copper sulfate in it." He finished as he snickered, confirming that he had indeed done what he had said.
