but when i'm staining the floor with blood, don't "all pain serves a purpose" me. underneath is drawing of a character with their torso disconnected from their legs, revealing bones, blood oozing out. another character is on the right, smiling, and saying "all pain serves a purpose".

when i'm vomiting out of my eyes, don't "look on the bright side" me. underneath is a drawing of a character with bright shining eyes, smiling and saying "look on the bright side", next to that is a hand rising from the bottom, with a beating bleeding heart on it.

sometimes pain is just pain, sometimes suffering doesn't have a nice little bow on top. next to the text is a drawing of an eye, a single tear flows down from it.
