I actually had two cut out scenes for INIL cause i couldnt fit it into the fic without it fucking over other plot point stuff which were Flame meeting Clown during a sudden visit to see how Wemmbu was doing. They ended up having dinner together then Flame asked Wemmbu if they were related! If ur interested imma try n find it because i wrote this a whole back 😭

Most aus (i will be writing in the future) where Clown is Wemmbu's dad will have the common shared fact that Clown found Wemmbu one day and decided that's his son.

For INIL!Wemmbu specifically, he was abandoned as a kid. Didnt get picked up by any relative or the system, ended up homeless wandering around. Clown found him walking along route 66, drove at a snails pace asking cursory information, decided he liked Wemmbu's determination and just yoinked him. Branzy was shocked, admonished Clown to hell and back. Ferre wanted Clown to return him wherever he found Wemmbu.

After a week, Clown dropped Wemmbu off in the middle of a forest told him to survive. If he did, he was Clown's son officially and his whole life will be provided for. Clown came back with no Wemmbu, Ferre was excited, Branzy was questioning where the kid went (Branzy was alrwady starting to forge official govn papers for him). He picked Wemmbu up again after two weeks, all papers dealt with, and Wemmbu was officially Clown's son after that

Branzy inirially cared for Wemmbu because it was the right thing to do and he didn't rlly trust his husbands to actually know how to take care of a kid to genuinely loving Wemmbu

Ferre is the equivalent of those dads who said they didnt want a pet and ending up loving them the most 😭😭

Clown genuinely cares about Wemmbu, he is Wemmbu's main parent, hence dad no 1 as the contact name in INIL

I do think a part of the reason why there's barely any odyssey duo or parfies stuff nowadays and we only get brief glimpses through Wifies and his inability to exist without the implication of Parrot— a part of is due to the sudden uprise of shipping during season 1 to early season 2 of UU then Parrot deciding that he no longer wants that, in my opinion.

To write a story and expect no ships is stupid in general but in a way, I do think it's cute how much Parrot covets his relationship with Wifies that he doenst want any outside force risk ruining it for him, yaknow
