Hello again. Today I provide a caterpillar. There were tons and tons around the field I was in, and this one had somehow made it to my shirt. It was polite enough to let me take a picture before it crawled off the stick I lent it and back into the bushes.
Saw this moth(?) in town. I've never seen a moth with limbs (or lack thereof) like this, but the wings are unmistakable. It was very patient and let me get close enough to touch it, but I can't verify if those are genuine bones or just a boney exoskeleton. Has anybody seen this species before?
harvestman visiting from the front porch. Too fast to get a decent picture of but still patient enough to let me hover over it.
A caterpillar spotted while helping a relative prune some plants. Every other plant had one of these napping in it.
small grey bug poking around on a friend's plants.
They're very small and they seemed content with their spots of choice. Almost every flower like this in the area had one of these bugs on it.

Whirligig beetles! I saw at least three separate gatherings of them during my trip to the river. Watching the spin is pleasing.
a butterfly who landed on my bag and refused to leave. Was very unbothered by gentle attempts at shooing it away.
The single blade of grass stuck to its mouth is very charming to me

There's quite a few of these isopods that live around the back of the house. I always look forward to seeing them.
Little unknown spotted bug found on a dandelion.
a potato beetle(?) found while weeding the garden. Very alive, just a little spooked after its relocation.
Saw a little red thing crawling around while I was sitting out back. The whole leaf is about half a thumb if that helps imagine the sizing.
