Native to the Western U.S., introduced into Europe.

Colorado potato beetle taur and her dog! Wanted to draw a species I’ve worked with intensely this year. Pros of having many many limbs is that even if your arms are full you can still gesture.

Name: Sal

Species: Colorado Potato Beetle

Description: Sal is the rough and tumble leader of the Pest Pack. He is very manipulative as he once tricked the ant brothers by leaving them to tend Elder Beetle’s garden, only to instead eat the crops. Sal, due to being a potato beetle, is very well described as a greedy glutton who has a taste for vegetables, especially when they’re served as a salad. Sometimes, Sal is either annoyed or grouchy when his schemes don’t work out as he planned them to be. He really hates it when Ollie stinks up the place, sometimes literally.

Likes: vegetables served on a silver platter, money, horror movies, getting away with it

Dislikes: chemical insecticides, Ollie’s stinkbug stench, his plans failing, not getting away with it
