Valentine's Day - Finding Buck's house wasn't too difficult, leaving a red box on his porch with a blue heart on the top to note it was from Hanzo. A book on fruit selections for making alcohol rested on the bottom, covered by a deep red blanket with a similar pattern to the old serape Buck used to wear for nostalgia's sake. A flash drive held violin music written and played just for him as the final touch.

Buck had been out too many days. Neglected opening presents while he was so dogged about his work. Now, a full month later, the well was dug, the barn was built, and finally, the fence was standing tall again, tall enough with a line of barbed wire to discourage anymore would-be climbers. He laid back against the soft cushions of his couch, the laptop he’d kept for a while coming to life, and soon with the sounds of gentle strings. The only lacking part, one could say, would be the form of his lover there, performing for him. Something itched in his eye, sunk in through his chest, and made it hard to swallow. Digging into his pocket, he swipes through his contacts- a short list- and waiting to hear anything past the ringing.

I made strawberry jam! The berries were already very sweet and I added a bit too much sugar, but it still came out delicious. The little jar is a bit of jam that I’m going to give to my grandmother as a small gift <3

Colt Python

A beautifully engraved example of a Colt Python, a large .357 Magnum chambered revolver from the “Snake” line. According to the owner/seller it has a Level C engraving coverage done by famed engraver Les Schowe. Pythons are valuable on their own but quality engraving can add to the value. The problem is how much value is up for debate. Sometimes the increase in price often puts it out of range for a majority of interested buyers. (GRH)
