BTS Succeeds In Setting New Record As “Boy With Luv” MV Surpasses 80 Million Views

BTS continues to set new records!

At approximately 6:40 p.m. KST on April 13, BTS’s latest music video “Boy With Luv” surpassed 80 million views on YouTube. As the music video was released at 6 p.m. KST on April 12, this means the group was able to achieve this feat in approximately 24 hours and 40 minutes.

This means that BTS now holds the new record for the fastest Korean group music video to reach 80 million views. The previous boy group record was also held by BTS at two days, 23 hours, and 16 minutes for their previous release, “IDOL.” They have also broken the previous overall record that was set at one day, 18 hours, and 50 minutes for BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love.”

This may be the fastest time to 80 million views for any artist’s MV on YouTube; however, there is currently a lack of official sources that could confirm this.
