Would you ever consider posting a tutorial on how you did your boy kavalier cosplay? Its gorgeous and id love to know how you made it

Hi‼️short tut and if u have more questions i will answer them!

For the base i used old clothes, i had to dye the pants cuz they were lighter in colour.

I used puffy yarn for the sleeves, handsewn. For the gold details, i used gold trimmings, these were also mostly handsewn..as you can see☀️

It took me 3 weeks to finish both cardigan and pants

(yes i was watching peter pan cuz i am a big fan too + sorry for the ugly cropping its from my instagram😭)

Thought process below cuz i made this symbolic and i wanna share☀️

At first i had no ideas for the clothing, i considered some options that yall suggested but then i stuck with this thought:

“What if i represent them the way they see eachother?”

I drew David normally, space suit, broken neck, but i put a little light in his eyes, because at some point, Elizabeth felt it [Paradise]

As for Elizabeth, i made her body to depict David’s fantasies and his plan for her, i kept her hair because he liked it in Paradise.

The plant/flower he is holding, it’s the one he put on her grave in Alien Covenant. It’s not green anymore, it’s dying and drying up, symbolising Shaw’s fate.
