On the lone chair near the couch, Shadow muttered, “Even after almost taking someone’s life.”
The bat giggled as he kept his eyes on the TV screen, where he was doing his umpteenth rewatch of that show revolving around a skimpy black-haired girl and her giant scissors.
“IT WAS A MISUNDERSTANDING,” Omega countered, throwing his arms up. “HOW LONG WILL YOU KEEP FAULTING ME FOR THAT?”
“The same amount of time as when you threw our kitchen table through the wall over a game of UNO,” Shadow grunted, still not looking back. On his lap, his chao, Dusk, stuck his tongue out at him.
“WHICH WAS STILL, IN ROUGE’S TERMS, ‘A CROCK OF SHIT,’” the robot bellowed.
