hello! as someone who is only recently learning about the problems with wolfertinger, I saw in your most recent post you mentioned there is a tag specifically for black furry artists. What is it? 👀 tumblr search function sucks ass and I'm not finding anything specific.

it is quite literally that, just #/black furry artist, #/black furry (this ones kind of mixed, sometimes its a furry as in the drawing is black or a furry as in the person themself is black or both) or #/black artist which is more general but youll definitely find a handful of furries in there

you also have the blk variants of the tag so rather black its just #/blk artist and #/blk furry

a lot of people like to tag their art as their nationality, race, disability, etc like every now and again ill see something tagged #/ukrart, #/disabledartist, #/phartist and so on

like all of the people you follow you have to use your own discretion, and sometimes even if they are black they wont use those tags, but with enough deliberation and following a few, tumblr will catch on and start recommending you more and more black artists or the black artists that you follow will reblog other black artists

i know everyones already made the comment but im still shocked quite a few salems followers/supporters just outright admitted that he was one of the only black furries they followed when there is a whole tag for black furries, black artists, and just black people in general

their whole "wanting to listen and support black people" started and stopped at him, yeah online spaces definitely has issues with drowning out black voices (and poc voices as a whole) but would that not encourage you to go out and search for them more? or are you just so lazy that youll let the algorithm you apparently hate so much spoon feed their content to you?

I don’t want to make it seem like people NEED to donate to me. It would just ease my medical bill. I have a 3.2k bill. I can cover it (for now), but it was supposed to go through workmans comp and just never did i guess! Even though I provided the documents.

I would prefer it be a commission. As I feel donations are unfair. The only thing is I work fulltime and use my days off to do commissions. I worry my art isn’t quite at the same quality as prior. Since. Yknow I kinda got a head injury.
