IMPORTANT. PLEASE READ.

Good morning, everyone.

I come to you all with a heavy heart right now.

Due to circumstances that have continued for a good length of time and several conversations among staff, we have reached the tough decision to dissolve as the moderation team of Citta-Alveare. Due to this, Citta is effectively closed.

It was a long and emotional road we went down to get to this point and no doubt many of you reading this are now troubled. We are, too. But we do have options going forward.

A new group is in the process of being built and will launch soon, headed by myself and mods oo7 and oo4, as well as mod blank. Those interested in joining will be able to maintain their rank, memories and unlocks if they choose to migrate to the new group. You may also continue any threads you have running in the meantime, but feel free to use a general city setting. We will have more information forthcoming in the near future.

If you have questions or concerns, I direct you to my main Twitter account, @ KRStaley, which will be unlocked for the time being.

Again, I am very sad we have come to this point, and I am sorry to cause anyone distress. However, I and others hope you will join us and together we can look toward a happier future doing what we love.

After some fumbling with pockets, Battler finally locates a copy of the flier he’s left hanging in several billboards over the city. It’s always practical carrying your own advertisement around. Isn’t it the same principle as carrying a calling card? “Here. Read it carefully, then tell me what you think.”

The Lopunny’s ears twitched a little as she took the offered sheet and did as she was bidden. More than a few times, she tilted her head questioningly, but after a few moments, she handed it back.

“So, basically, in exchange for following through on what we say we’re going to do and swearing fealty to your family with a vow to protect you in a time of crisis, you agree to protect these ‘Pieces’ in return and give them money? It basically sounds like you’re hiring knights. Am I wrong?”

As someone not particularly familiar with the Nightmare Knight and his history, it’s likely such a comparison wouldn’t bother him. And even if he DID know about the colossus’s feats… he’s seen worse. It’s kinda hard to stun Battler nowadays, will everything he’s gone through.

[message] I’ve basically started a law enforcement agency inside Sector 6. [message] It’s gotten... mixed reviews. [message] But these always do. [message] The difference with mine is that I intend to make it work. [message] We’re operating under rules of our own creation, but we’ve opened the floor to residents here on problems they see that they’d like us to work on. [message] My problem is that law enforcement is just that. [message] We can catch people, but we have no means of really passing judgment. [message] But I remembered that on your planet, you were studying law and you seem to be very good at it. [message] Admittedly, Alternia seems a little... different from here, but I think if anyone would know any place to start with this in general, it would be you.
