I still can’t believe it’s 2023 and we still need to apply for jobs,,, especially the part where they ask us for our entire life details including therapy sessions notes for a job that pays 25k.

I would rather sell my soul to the devil than go through 3 rounds of the hiring process only to get paid minimum wage!!!!!!!!

Never in a billion years I thought I would miss Holi!!!! But I do…

Went from doing bare minimum as tokenism for Holi at home to only being able to do bare minimum.

When you build a house, do you make it for yourself or others? The Castle was built by various chaps, the Prince Bishops as they were addressed. Did they make it for themselves or others?

Look closely at the painting and you will see they have been altered so many times, the rosary beads were removed and painted again and then removed, fitting in with the Church of England it seems!? Look at the pineapple figure on the stairs and ask why tf are these pineapples here and who makes pineapples like this????Well people who never saw a pineapple but wanna show off their wealth at a time when pineapples cost £200. And who installs such narrow and shallow stairs in a castle? A Bishop who wanted to appear as if he is flying downstairs using his cloak to cover narrow stairs.

But the best part about this place is that it’s still living and I know conservators will kill me when I say let’s just fucking use historic places and objects don’t put them in closed boxes and restricted sections these were meant to be used and lived in!!!!!!!!

PS- the only reason I click so many chandelier pictures is that I’m a Bollywood-obsessed kid.

It's been 6 months since I left home...

All I wanted was to create a new life in the UK

but now how do I tell my parents that I can't be here because I want to wear kurtis to University and eat dosa from a nearby stall for Rs.25/- while a sad song from the 50s is playing in some random rickshaw.

How am I missing an autorickshaw more than my family and friends!!!!!!

Maybe it's because I talk to them every day but I can't experience the other desi things here.

All I have realised is that I'm too desi to be here!
