Saturday Rabbits is out!!

this has been a HUGE passion project for me the past 4 weeks, learning to code (as someone who has done no such thing before) to making art, getting frustrated as all hell with the code, to taking time and scripting and everything above, I have poured my heart and soul into this project. and im really glad I get to share it with you!!

Hi there! :D

It’s been a long while since I posted anything about Evil Heroes. And I’ve been dying to post about any updates/progress. But I barely made any new progress, ngl. Work has kept me really unmotivated :( BUT finally I had a week of vacation from work, and I dedicated as much as I could to Evil Heroes progress.

First thing: I’ve been thinking about what type of format to release Evil Heroes. I want to ditch my previous idea of releasing a demo and then the full final game. Mainly because uploading the full game at once with the 4 routes is quite scary and intimidating for me, basically because this is my first time ever coding and making a VN.

I thought it would be better to release the game in like “days” format. But instead of day 1, day 2, etc. Each part is going to be called "take one," "take two," etc. Until the release of the full movie. Because in Evil Heroes they basically film a $nuff film with you being the protagonist over the course of a couple of weeks.

Take one, being the shortest part, as it was intended to be the demo.

SPRITES! Normal sprites are finally done! (Well, except Paisley ones bc she won’t appear till take two or three and my ass is too lazy)

Here are some CG wips as well:

ALMOST everything is coded except for a last-minute idea for a scene that I’m still writing, and I also want it to be kind of interactive, with the player having to repeatedly click to succeed yk.

Last thing, and one I’m super excited about :D It has nothing to do with game development; it’s just extra lore of the main 4 characters for anyone interested in their lore. I’m working on a short comic about the Evil Heroes that will explain how they ended up making snuff movies. Here’s a lil sneak peek—
