so I’ve talked about the bean exercise a few times and here’s an example of me using it. basically you warm up by drawing beans in a lil’ cluster and then whenever you feel like it, you go back and use the bean shapes to create figures, imagining the beans as the torso. its really helpful because when you’re doing the beans, you aren’t thinking about perspective or posing, you’re just trying to draw Shape and get it to fit in a certain spot. So what you end up doing when you start drawing figures is you get all these perspectives and poses you wouldn’t normally draw in. its a great way to warm up!
