What do you mean Bryce stans think Bryce is the Mother?

Nesta - not Bryce - has a connection with the Mother. Nesta - not Bryce - becomes the Mother. Nesta mentioned how the Mother looked out through her eyes - Bryce has never mentioned that. Nesta - not Bryce - is guided by the Mother. Nesta - not Bryce - had a full-blown conversation with the Mother. When Nesta first became the Mother, Cassian mentioned how their scents were similar yet wholly different.

Bryce is not the Mother, nor does she have the Mother's magic. Bryce herself acknowledged in HOFAS that Nesta became another being

Azriel didn't yield a single step. Nesta came to a stop before him. Nothing human or Fae looked out through the eyeholes of the mask.

Bryce may not have known who that being was, but those of us who have read ACOSF know that was the Mother. Kinda hard for Bryce to be the Mother when she's staring at the Mother via Nesta.

Nesta is the only character, canonically, who has a connection with the Mother. That's already established canon from both ACOSF and HOFAS.

I'm not an outspoken hater of the inner circle, but they irritate me a little. What causes me this stress is the fact that they tell themselves how good they are, how they don't like killing or torturing, but they do it anyway. They know they do bad things for "good" reasons. And they justify it, but if other characters do the same, then they are the reincarnation of Satan and deserve no respect whatsoever. It's simply too much selfish going around there.

People like to discredit the Nessian bargain tattoo being the Starborn logo because Nesta doesn't have the tattoo anymore. Therefore, to them, she can't be Starborn. Yet if Nesta's silver flames are indeed moonfire from ToG, then wouldn't her magic have chosen a moon on fire (or something like that) for the Nessian bargain tattoo? The fact that her magic chose the eight-pointed star and that it's the same eight-pointed star that is scarred into Bryce's flesh after pulling a star from her chest is major foreshadowing.

Nesta can not be discredited as being Starborn just because she no longer has the bargain tattoo. If it wasn't meant to be significant, then it could have been literally anything else. The fact that the tattoo was brought up in HOFAS and it was one of the reasons Bryce gave Gwydion to Nesta is foreshadowing Nesta's story arc in ACOTAR 6.

Feyre says that very few people like Nesta. Mor says that she's a wicked monster who would thrive in the CoN, and doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt. Cassian says that everyone hates her.

Meanwhile, Nesta is out here making friends like nobody's business: Gwyn, Emerie, the Valkyries, Clotho (really it feels like Nesta's befriended all the priestesses except Merrill), Bryce, Ember, Randall.

And then, of course, there's Eris, who wants to marry her after only three dances.

The IC are really the only ones who can't see how amazing Nesta is.

I like to imagine how my favorite fictional couples would spend their time together, sharing experiences and enjoying simpler activities, because these moments provide knowledge about the other, what makes them who they are. For my first submission today, I asked Léo to illustrate Cassian teaching Nesta how to make a recipe, but, just like in the scene where Nesta makes the bracelet frustrated with the result 🤭, she would love to learn and share with him these more domestic activities, but not without getting frustrated during the process, and Cassian would be all silly, feeling lucky that Nes was there with him.

This was the first time I had the opportunity to work with Léo, and I loved every step of the process ❤️

My first idea for this art was to focus on the dialogue from the Acosf Prison scene, where Cassian says “I can’t risk you” and this phrase was repeated at a time when they were alone, after Bryce returned the mask to Nesta, because I believe it is one of the reasons, among others, for Cassian to be “the most furious” person with Nesta in that situation. However, the same Acosf Prison scene develops in a way that allows me to believe that Cassian recognizes that he should believe her. So I decided that, in response to Nesta’s “I’m fine” after the worlds were safe, in part because of the decision she made, he would again respond with an “I don’t know why I doubted you”, because I want Cassian to increasingly allow himself to consider Nesta’s perspective first, instead of criticizing her in favor of others, especially in cases where she is the most appropriate person to assess the situation.

My dear Jaque made this wonderful illustration, which I was super excited to share, and I don’t have enough words to praise and thank her.
