In August, I will be joining Britni Brault, Cameron Garland, and Jackie Huang for a paper-themed art show at Gallery1988 in Los Angeles!

The show runs August 3-18, with an opening reception on Friday, August 3rd. The theme is loosely based around pop-culture from our childhoods, so I will have new pieces featuring Paddington Bear, Batman Returns, Return to Oz, Castle Greyskull, Cowboy Bebop, and more! *much excite*

Two years ago I decided to start a project to motivate myself and practice collaging when I didn't have a looming deadline or when I was feeling blocked artistically. Then I decided this project had to be structured as an alphabet set because, of course I did, that's what I always do. So I set a goal to make 52 collages depicting two of my favorite nerdy characters for each letter of the alphabet. And voilà! Two years later I finally finished the dang thing.

All of the new and remaining Nerd Love collages are now available in my Etsy shop!

I just added a few new Nerd Love collages to my Etsy shop (Subject Delta, Eren Yeager, Garrus, and Nightcrawler) which brings the total number of completed pieces to 38. Since the goal for this project is 52 total pieces (a lady and a gent for each letter of the alphabet) that means I’m nearly ¾ of the way there! I started working on this series back in May of 2016, so it’s pretty exciting that I might actually finish it.

I’m hoping to tackle the last 14 pieces in the next month or so before I start work on a couple of big upcoming shows.
