shadow being "good with kids" is wrong in the sense that i really dont think he would soften up and smile at them or speak That much more gently

but like everything he takes them seriously, which kids usually prefer, and is probably a little more conscious of what he says/awkward even if his tone is still kinda gruff and thats the real moe

shadow speaks to a child in exactly the same rude sounding tone as usual but with a few more pauses and less hoity toity word choice and if the kid looks scared he suddenly freezes for 2 seconds before looking away and continuing in a slightly hurried way that otherwise sounds exactly the same as before but with even nicer word choice: heh. loser
