Another surprise in my original Animal Crossing Town: the Throne showed up as a Spotlight item. The Throne, aside from the Crown and Royal Crown from Able Sisters, is one of the most expensive items in the game. And it being a Spotlight item, something that's only obtainable if you either have a second player in your town or get incredibly lucky from a Shooting Star, (also a rare event), most probably didn't ever see this item.

The price clocks in at 800,000 bells, but if you have enough Nook Points, the discount brings it down considerably.

You'll also want to make sure you have enough inventory space for it, since apparently the game doesn't account for bells being spent when buying an item.

But now I have a snazzy new chair for the home :)
