Aurora Knight uses they/them pronouns.
But because of their feminine voice, she/her has accidentally been used at times, which led to them accepting both. Though they don’t mind slip-ups, please try and just use they/them.
• Aurora Knight was a rogue knight turned star child raised by the Moon Kingdom. Birthed from a supernova, as with every rogue knight, they were destined to betray and commit mass genocide on their own people had they not been taken in by the Moon Monarchs.
• They were lenient and soft-spoken, having little to no history of harboring genuine ill will towards anyone, except those that caused harm to someone they loved. They didn’t really get mad a lot. In fact, they *rarely* got mad.
• Not even Nebula could remember the last time Aurora was genuinely angry or raised their voice, except when they lashed out while ranting about Galacta Knight abusing Umbra and still being alive.
• They were the mediator and the youngest of the trio, leaning more towards stopping fights than starting them. The only time they’d start fights is, again, if someone hurt those they loved.
• The auroras hanging off their mask are real auroras that were close to dying. Aurora Knight began collecting and refueling them to make them easier for the others to see them at night and to make their combat more “visibly ethereal”, both to those involved in or watching the fight.
• They were also the most underestimated of the three. They were known to be a bit air-headed and “too nice”, and were thus mocked and dismissed by their enemies… until they found themselves cowering at their mercy.
• They do not yet have a weapon, but I’m leaning more towards giving them a bow and arrow; the bow would be made of gold with the same gradients as on their mask, and the arrows would be made of leftover auroras that didn’t fit on their mask.
• They were an adept midair fighter with many projectiles, thus they rarely fought on the ground. Their projectiles were much harder for them to fire when they weren’t in the air, making them a valuable target for enemies to strike.
• Aurora Knight’s voice claim is Zelda (Breath of the Wild). It’s just perfect for them. Their birthday is June 18th, the day their design was first finalized.
• The moon on their emblem is the same moon that would end up on Umbra’s emblem. Whether it was a tribute to Aurora specifically or if it was just as a symbol of the clashing kingdoms is… y’know what? It’s up to interpretation!
• Aurora Knight was sadly one of the many lives taken in the Megaloclipse. The last thing they did prior to their death was lend Umbra the butterfly charm they wear over their mask. Umbra has kept it on display in a private room ever since.
