Even if they’re just rough sketches I’m so happy to finally have a semi-definitive design for them, these guys have been living in my head rent free for months without a proper design.
Now time for some presentations!! (I’ll go from left to right)

Don’t be fooled by Scott’s appearance, he may look young and inexperienced but he manages to keep up with hundreds of archaeologists and scientists recruited by Targent. His intelligence is limitless and he’s the mastermind behind his companions’ raids. He’s kind, loyal and brave, he believes in a brighter future where the Azran technology will be used for a better purpose. Although he tries to behave like an adult he is still a kid and therefore his young age can lead him to be a bit naive and too sensitive.

Alex is the lone wolf of the group. She was an agent recruited by Targent to build explosives, now she uses her inventions to destroy them.
She may not be the strongest of the group but her deep knowledge of all sorts of weapons and her proverbial cunning make her a formidable opponent.
Despite being rather grumpy and unfriendly she’s really attached and loyal to her companions, there isn’t a single thing she wouldn’t do for them.

Artemis may not be the strongest or the smartest of the group but she has a special ability that made her one of the most feared rebels.
Triggered by reliving her own traumas she can induce herself strong adrenaline rushes which can exponentially increase her strength, speed and pain resistance. Among Targent agents there is a rumor that with a single punch she is able to break a human skull, obviously no one has ever bothered to verify it.

Jay is the classical knight in the shiny armor, except he doesn’t wear one because it would be pretty hard to be a sniper wearing something like that. As Alex he’s an ex-agent from Targent (He might remind you of two canon characters and yes, it’s not random at all 👀). His talent and experience in battle are unmatched, with his sniper skills he is always ready to back his companions up in case of danger. He’s strong, brave and confident, maybe just a little too confident.

Last but not least we have Marshall, the beating heart and leader of the rebellion, he was the one who founded it and he could not be prouder of his team. His values are the exact opposite of Bronev’s.
He sees no worth in Azran’s technology, from what he knows it has done nothing but irreparable harm. He doesn’t hide behind hundreds of soldiers he is always in the front line to protect his companions.

These are just quick presentations, there’s much more under the surface but for now… what do you think of them? 👀
throws my hat in the future flora ring…a lady, and a story to go with her under the cut!
bunny ezra is a postgrad researcher at gressenheller university, looking mainly into optics and photonics.
she’s recently been looking at a masters degree, and- oh! A new researcher has just been employed, and he seems qualified to supervise her project for it!
so she approaches this ‘dr. stahngun’ fellow, asking if she might work under him for a while. he’s been pretty isolated and reluctant to talk to most of the team, so she’s delighted when he agrees to take him under her wing!
…and then, of course, a few months later she finds herself supposedly 10 years in the future.
disoriented and confused, bunny meets the other scientists seemingly trapped in the future, tasked with building a time machine to aid in their escape. she helps, for a little while, but this really isn’t her field. polydimensional physics is way above her station. so she takes to looking for parts instead. anything that might be of use. she also takes it upon herself to keep the morale of her fellow scientists up, putting on a chipper front during her time in the future that hides a deeply stressed, disoriented mess underneath.
and then, of course, on one of her outings for materials…bunny finds out. she walks in on dimitri having a conversation with…someone. they notice her, and dimitri’s face turns to thunder. the other man, however, is visibly interested.
“Oh. Is…that the actress for Flora? You could’ve gotten a brunette, rather than a blonde, honestly.”
“…Actress?”
not given much of a choice…bunny goes along with it. she learns the name of the other person, clive, and works with him to become a future version of the young girl hershel layton travels with.
