OKAY l am gonna explain more of my chrysalis backstory lore/rewrite with two new drawings!!

As I said before, chrystalis born from the remains of a dead tree of harmony. So yes,,, technically she is "related" to crystal ponies. she and her hive feed of "love" because their existence comes like as a curse/plague created by the dead tree himself after the ponies and other magical creatures began to hate each other

So chrystalis seeks to feed the eternal hole in her soul as a result of being born of hatred/pride.

If you ask how crystal ponies are related with the changelings, is because the "crystal heart" is like the core of another tree of Harmony what lived before the "only" other known tree bellow the castle of the two royal sisters.

Past times and lost kingdoms

When Chrystalis spread her people like a plague far and wide, she discovered the many legends and debotion of all ponys to their god's called alicorns. She used this like a plan for being loved and adorated so she named her new identity as "chrysi riza"

After creating her new identity, Chrystalis ended up deceiving the habitants of the kingdom of Timbucktu and marrying to King Orion, and then well... the obvious thing happen in the kingdom.

the name"Chrysi riza" means"Golden root" in greek. (She called herself the alicorn of life and beauty/Youth)

The forgotten legends

Many moons ago. even Before celestia and luna came to equestria, there was a time where the most powerful unicorns all united together to raise the sun across the immense sky every day before this were duty of the royal sisters

With Star swirl the Bearded being the head of the group and tutor of the rest. He born from the royal family of unicorns and was part of the original warriors in the battle against grogar.

Clover the clever was the Star Swirl's main student, he was very talented and Clever.

Starling fireworks the ingenious, was the most Young unicorn in the group. but not much less powerful!.

Desert Scarlet the mysterious, was the most pretty and extravagant unicorn in the group. She's from saddle arabia.

Racing blaze the strong, was the older brother of clover. His magic cause the broken horn btw.

Lancelot the handsome, was the most beautiful and gentle of the group.

I Based the designs on the costumes of this episode hehe

I was driving on the highway and passed a dude absolutely JAMMING alone in his car, doing those little half dance moves you do when you’re stuck sitting down in a small space, bellowing unheard lyrics at the top of his lungs, and my instant reaction was to think “I love you.” And then to pray he had a good day, or whatever, because those fleeting moments of connection are so incredible.

(slams this down on the table) It has been SO long since I've finished a drawing, y'all. I really want to make this into a series, what with Minekura being one of my major artistic inspirations since my adolescence, but that'll be highly dependent on my motivation going forward as drawing has been very difficult for me lately m(_ _)m

But I'm happy to have this one done regardless! Minekura drew her characters shirtless in the original so she could depict their muscles... I considered doing the same, but decided I had no particular interest and would rather draw their outfits anyhow🤣
