So you’re stuck in your own story. Here are some tips that will totally work.

Write that one first - Talk to someone about it. - Maybe your ideas are on a merry go round in your head. Take a walk to get them off the merry go round. You need character development: - Remove or add a new character. How would everyone react? - Character surveys! They are great! - Play a single player RPG. Pretend you are the character who needs development - Play the story in Sims You ran out of ideas: - Place your characters in the last book you read/ game you played/movie you watched. - Add mechas - Write a fanfiction about your story. - If its a romance story: Do all the pairings possible. Observe how the chemistry between the characters will change in every pairing and who works well with whom. You lost your interest in the story but want to continue: - Write your own review. Imagine you want to get someone to read it. - Know AMVs? Make one or imagine one to whatever song you’re listening to. - Make fanart - More fanfiction - Think about headcanons with friends - Write something else. Your excitement will come back. No need to force it
