Burbur the pale

Hello! My name is Burbur and i'm a slig! This blog is to keep track and share my story! I'll be talking about the day to day or reminiscing about the past and the friends i meet!! I'm new to this but hopefully I can make this blog look better as I expand my library! Anyone is welcome to draw my oc's! The rules are... 1. Please credit me to my oc! 2. Don't change how they look for example Burbur is white not blue so don't draw him blue lmao 3. Sexual content and stuff is fine UNLESS I say they are minors! None of my OC are minors so this doesn't apply thus far (I would rather you warn me first if you want to do sexual or suggestive stuff with them tho so I can expect it) thanks!!

The previous Scrabania teapot I made back in 2017, the sculpture of the Scrab as a lid handle broke off. The teapot is still functional, but it makes me sad to use it with that scrab being broken off. So I decided to make a new Scrabania teapot.

It may only hold up to 2 cups of tea while the last one holds up to around 4 cups, I use this one everyday.

FINISHED!!! I'm actually quite proud and like the outcome he's super cool and I'm naming this slog Ducky!!!! My partner suggested I make a second where he's riding a slog hotdog for a food advertisement haha so I might do that eventually!!!

Little pale beginnings #2

Burbur and Uunda are gleefully singing and dancing the night away in celebration of a fresh new set of seasons for the year. Uunda notices a figure lumber into view behind Burbur. A tall stranger lingers hunched clutching his stomach, he shouts over Burburs cheerful drumming " Uunda I plead your assistance!". Uunda places down her staves and runs towards him "Burbur please cease the celebration! please help me with this... this... Igore? wha... what has happened to you, you stupid oaf!". She quickly grabs him as slumps and murmurs "you don't change do you?". Meanwhile Burbur climbs into his bionic legs to catch up. He doesn't speak as he is confused. This is the stranger he has seen around their home that Elder refuses to talk about! She even pretends that Burbur did not see him when he has caught them talking. She always ends up yelling at him but is always noticeably miserable when he leaves again."BURBUR!! PLEASE LIFT! CAN YOU NOT HEAR ME BOY NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR SILLY MIND VACATIONS!" Burbur startled shakes his tendrils and lifts the stranger over his shoulder and makes their way on the small dirt path back to their home.

On arrival he places Igore down on a table. Elder works in silence, concentrating on mixing herbs and elixirs in her mortar and pestle. Burbur looks away and focuses back on Igore. He starts to notice the features of this stranger. He has a Mudokon body but it looks strange. Warped. Unnatural. His head is longer and drooped at the back, long tubular ears and scaley brows. Burbur starts to tremble. He looks down where the strangers hands were clutching its stomach and reaches for the bloody bindings. Uunda's hand flies down onto the table making Burbur jump and meet her eyes. She is serious and cold "Burbur, please leave me to deal with this. I will call you again when it is done." He nervously gulps, nods and quickly steps out of the room to his bedroom.Burbur slumps out of his legs and slithers onto his work stool. He shakes as she grabs his notebook and charcoal pencil. He hastily writes " The stranger! I now know his name! IGORE. He is not natural. He looks strange! An amalgamation of Mudokon and dare I even think... a Glukkon!? This cannot be! How does this happen and WHY does Uunda not trust Burbur with this freak"

Burbur winces at the last word he wrote. "how has fear driven me to such things, such hate?". He rips out the page and scrunches it up. With tears now streaming he sits at his desk, looking at the moon...waiting.

I was going to do more art for this snippet but I was just so excited to post thus far, I will probably still draw more and maybe add in edits? Or as separate posts but hope you enjoyed my weak writing skills!

Hey Burbur, since it's New Years, do you and your fam celebrate any holidays?

We celebrate a lot of holidays! Burbur wants to celebrate all holidays and give joy to all! Even unheard of holidays we will gladly enjoy the fun! We just celebrated the new year in style with our shaman cloth! We sung writes, ate food and danced into the night together!

That lil crying Burbur comic made me sad!! Does he remember anything about where he came from or that night?

Creator here! Burbur was too young to remember much of that night as he was fairly fresh from the batch! The idea is that Burbur was supposed to be kept aside for testing but a careless intern threw him out as he thought he was a bad batch being a different colour! Now the vykkers are on the lookout for him and Igore (the gluk/mud hybrid experiment). I hope to try expand and do more comics I just can be pretty lazy as well as busy but this will continue! I'm also new to writing story's with ocs so don't expect anything too clever its just a bit of fun and trying to get into worldbuilding and maybe even having them interact with other people oc's eventually! Thanks for taking an interest in Burbur in means the world to me!! :D
