Skillya has taken to her role as sole producer of slig stock about as well as you would expect. Of course, none of us could have forseen the tragic demise of our other queens in our stable, though it seems our own prima glokka isn't adverse to the extra attention their absence affords. Her temper is still a troubling issue as we increase her production capabilities - the larger brood sizes only exacerbate her periods of violence and subsequent filial cannibalism from the stress of the mass birth. With no mature females to replace her and the pressing demands of General Dripik, we can only perform damage control during her outbursts.
Regardless, she has always been exceedingly easy to please, if not expensive to pamper. She has a fascination with Nolybab culture, but thankfully has no desire to leave her enclosure so long as we provide entertainment. Her televisions - one for each channel available on cable, to be left to run continuously for her enrichment - seems to be sufficient in occupying her. a much different stimulus response compared to our attempts to similarly enrich our mudokon queen stock. Her tastes reflect that of the glukkon socialites she sees on tv, and we have taken to gifting her with new, appropriately sized fake 'jewels' and beauty products as a reward for good behavior between brooding periods. Though I miss the mellow nature of the late Ekidna, the simple materialism of her sister has been easier to indulge than the poor girl's sentimental blubbering about her swamp.
