Yandere! Nyo! Belarus // Headcanons
♡ At the beginning, Nikolai is going to be really mean to his s/o. When he first met them he got a really weird feeling in his chest that he just couldn’t seem to brush off. He thought that maybe spending time with his dear sister Anya would help, but that was not the case.
♡ Nikolai really didn’t know what he felt. Because of this, he “hated” his s/o. He hated how nice and warm they were acting, it was just too suspicious. He was sure that they had something up their sleeve, that they would hurt him like everyone else has already done. The more he was being mean towards them, the kinder s/o became. This frustrated Nikolai to no end. Why couldn’t they just leave him alone?!
♡ By this point, Nikolai is desperate to get away from s/o. How could they ever like a brute like him? He just couldn’t fathom it. He will try to distance himself from s/o, and he will get meaner and meaner with each passing day. By this stage things can go in two ways.
♡ If s/o does give in to his mean and sarcastic comments, everything will be back to normal for Nikolai. But if by some miracle s/o wasn’t fazed by his horrible behavior, that’s when he will become a yandere. He will realize that s/o genuinely does like him and likes to spend time with him.
♡ Nikolai will always be by s/o’s side, even if they don’t know it. He will basically become their shadow, following their every move. He is also horribly possessive. If he sees anyone that’s getting to close to his s/o, Nikolai will snap and kill that person. He is a bloodthirsty yandere and it is impossible to stop him once he is angered.
♡ Nikolai is also extremely clingy. He likes to hold s/o’s hand while they are out in public, and if anyone stares at them for too long he will just look at that person with the scariest look in his eye.
♡ Nikolai wants to “become one” with his s/o. He wants them to move in to his apartment, and he always gets what he wants. Nikolai also often dreams of getting married with s/o. He would love a cute, small wedding on the countryside with only close friends and family.
♡ Sometimes it may seem that Nikolai couldn’t care less about what s/o thinks, but in reality it is the complete opposite. He cares too much about what they think and he will do almost anything they ask him to do.
♡ Nikolai loves speaking to his s/o in his native tongue. If his s/o is a foreigner he will get a real kick out of teasing them. But if they actually do understand him, he will probably change his dialect to sound more different.
♡ Nikolai also loves to scare his s/o. Be it going to a haunted house or just hiding and a corner to jump scare them, Nikolai will love doing it. He also likes telling them all sorts of scary stories he knows, and maybe even some folklore.
♡ In conclusion, Nikolai would be a terrifying yandere. He will constantly be glued to s/o’s side and he will always kill anyone he deems a threat. The only thing that can possibly separate Nikolai and s/o by this point is death itself.
