yesterday i went to school without any makeup on and it may not seem a big deal to anyone else but for someone who’s been struggling with self confidence and being told that you’ve got to look / act a certain way all their life was to me and i just ??? i don’t know 

like a couple years ago i had the worst anxiety ???? i would purposely skip class knowing there was a presentation that day and dwell on it for weeks and weeks and in class i would physically feel myself get sick whenever the teacher would call on me to answer a question or if someone i didn’t even know would make a rude comment towards me i would let that rule out everything else or if someone would make plans with me i’d make up an excuse of why i couldn’t go because i would think i wasn’t good enough or they’re doing it because they felt sorry for me but . .. . , , ,, anyways now that? ??? 

if someone would say something hurtful i would brush it off like it’s nothing and forget about it or something but i just .....  i don’t know i’ve never felt more comfortable in my skin and i’m not 100% there yet but progress is progress and i am so proud of myself for that progress
