“Oh yeah? Good.” Sam continued to smile, although in his faint, tired way. Just for a moment, he was content in the simplicity of now. Then he sighed, lowered his hand--but kept fingers wrapped with hers. It wasn’t necessary to let her go, let the contact free. “Why don’t you show me around so I can see all you’ve done?”

Her lips pressed together for a moment, as she tried to think up some sassy or witty remark, but at the moment, she felt far too vulnerable to tease him. “Just one,” she murmured, moving closer to him. Her eyes were on his lips now, making it clear as to what she wanted. “If he’s interested.”

In tune to her approach, the hunter inched closer as well. Heart thudding steadily in his chest, eyes watching hers lower to lips automatically parting under her gaze. “Trust me,” Sam muttered, leaning down as fingers gently stroked the nape of her neck. “He’s interested.” A quiet agreement, all before firm lips touched hers slowly, and languidly. A gentle, brief kiss, his dark hair falling forward slightly as his brow touched hers. “Just.. be patient. It’s been a while since I wanted this, so I may, uh.. bumble.” A small, shy smile given, those dimples flashing to life.
