Hallownest IRL Update!

Since HK is turning 9 yrs old today, I wanted to share an update on my Hallownest IRL project!

Unfortunately, I had to take a long break from working on it, so I didn’t make much progress in the six months after I first shared it. About 90% of the new things you see were actually made in just the past two weeks!

There are a few areas I need to tear down and redo, but I’m really looking forward to the stage where I can finally finish the building and polishing and move on to painting, I can’t wait to give it the beautiful colors it deserves! The awful paint you’re seeing right now was just me experimenting lol

I would love to hear critiques or tips, especially if you do a lot of crafting! I feel a bit too unskilled for a project at this level. Even though I’ve been planning this and collecting materials since late 2022, about 50% of it has been completely improvised!

these are just some SUPER rough sketches of me trying to finally find my hk/ss artstyle! i was going for a doll aesthetic - like with heavily inspired BJD anatomy! But i think i can still do that better- like i said these are just some sketches of me experimenting. Stay tuned for more polished fanart if ur interested! (im not really satisfied with the way i drew trobbio but i still wanted to include this lol!)
