The New Avengers DO have bigger potatoes than Spider-Man
I feel like people are hating too much without reason because
The ‘small potatoes’ are Peter’s problems, not himself. Dealing with a Damage Control break in and a psychic (I don’t know the correct term I watched it in my language) IS small stuff because no matter how strong Peter is, he is street level.
The New Avengers deal with “Big Potatoes” because they are a government team and deal with higher threats probably around the world. There’s months of Timeskip between thunderbolts and doomsday, of course they must have done avengers level missions like at the start of Age of Ultron or Civil War.
Could Spider-Man beat the new avengers? Probably? it’s a 50/50 and before you get mad He’s not the same from the comics and he’s never fought 6 people together even if he defeated super soldiers (he also has nothing against someone that can phase out of anything and can crush his organs with a single touch). But he still can handle different enemies like the stark drones (even if they were just drones that’s still a heavy feat).
Let’s use the more common opinion that Spider-Man IS stronger than the New Avengers. Can he handle their potatoes? No. Because he’d have to handle team-level problems which he wouldn’t be always suited for. Needs to defeat a group of armed soldiers in a warehouse? Possible. But if he needs to do anything that requires more than one person like an infiltration, a security gig, or just multiple objectives, he can’t.
it’s not power levels, it’s numbers and status. If the new avengers were only New York (so street level) and spider man was global level, then he couldn’t handle it alone and he would need a team. Moon Knight, Blade, Daredevil are street level too, doesn’t mean they’re weak, they’re just not in the position of handling global threats.
in conclusion, spider man could be more powerful than them, but he’s alone and he IS a street level hero, even if he fought thanos (which he would have lost if he was alone but they were able to win with a team even if peter could probably beat almost every single member there). The New Avengers have bigger things to deal with than Peter, its objective.
how’d you discover winteragent and what made you like it so much?
I watched Thunderbolts on the big screen, saw John Walker protect Bucky with his entire body in that 0.2 second long scene and that was all it took 🫡
what I love about them are their shared experiences and traumas. they were in the army, fought at the front lines and lost the person closest to them. and I think once they get over the first impressions they have of each other there actually is a deep understanding between them
«and all your lovers, all your friends are fading in the emptiness and all the places you are from are eaten by the eternal worm it is all wrong, it is all odd like you are dead, but you are not it is the end of the good old world in it's familiar form»

the first thing I did in the game: read the letter that was given by a magician in the open scene. firstly, I was curious. secondly, I was doubly curious wether the game allowed opening and reading notes/books/recepies in general. imagine my face 25 hours in the game is when i finally noticed that the letter in my inventory changed it's status and now is marked as opened… …i thought a lot about what sort of punishment awaits me. turns out — none! weird that neither Milten, nor NH don’t reflect on it in any way whatsoever. well, the scene around that in my head is peak comedy. also the way Nameless addresses every second person as “Hey, you!” gets me every time.
кое-что быстренькое и глупенькое потому что сразу на них подумала, хаха
Okay, the DCU Hal Jordan interrogates a suspected alien for not having an encyclopedic knowledge of fucking Harry Potter of all things before he gets killed off in episode 1.
Sure. Whatever. I don't even care anymore.
AAAA what’s your headcanon about how Roboute would react to Lion’s death?
Here you go!
Returning to the question at hand, I think Guilliman would be consumed by utter despair. I once read a post on Reddit suggesting that the most grimdark scenario imaginable would be to brutally murder the Lion right in front of Guilliman, just to make him realize that no help is ever coming and that he will be forever alone. But what happens after that? Guilliman would simply continue to work. No matter the depths of his despair, his grief, or his rage, he would still pick up his quill and work himself to the bone just to delay the extinction of humanity for one more day. Regardless of how shattered he is, or if his spirit is completely broken, he is a man who will always fight to the bitter end and can never bring himself to give up. This is the outstanding quality of a tool meant to grind away relentlessly. A quality so good it can only be called a curse.
He is truly magnificent, isn't he?
