BACKSTORY.

Tobias Logan Shaw lives in a dystopian world where male/female heterosexual cisgender couples are the only legal couple. Called ‘breeders’ by some. When people reach the age of sixteen, they’re paired up to procreate. Everyone is part of a superhuman race, and people that are gay, transgender, etc. are caught by the corrupt government and then executed.

Toby’s been on-the-run with his aromantic/asexual best friend ever since the two of them turned sixteen. They’ve escaped the city they were raised in, hoping to find some kind of sanctuary. A safe haven for others like them. So far, they haven’t been too lucky...
