Ok so this is my reputation experience. I went to the Reputation tour in Denver, Colorado at mile high stadium at May 25th. My mom and I both paid a ton of money to get tickets in the snake pit. We knew that it was only standing room so that didn’t surprise us or upset us. But the reputation tour was honestly not a great experience for either my mom or me. While the pit is close, the stage is raised a good 7 feet so you mostly just see the black stage and you have to crane your neck during the whole concert in order to watch it. I was also on the stage left pit and so all I could see was one catwalk and the stage under one of the screens. I felt like I missed out on half of the show. The show also wasn’t as good as it could of been by the people around us. This part has nothing to do with Taylor and her crew but it’s more about the venue. We were told that if you were anywhere on the floor of the stadium, you were not allowed to have a poster of any kind. While the vast majority of people followed this rule there was a mother and a daughter duo who stood next to us with giant signs. Any time they pulled out these signs, my already limited view became much smaller. The correct thing for the venue to do was to take their signs away. I mean there were three security guards within arms length of the girls and no one did anything for the whole show, even if we complained to them. Taylor looked over to our pit once during the beginning of the show and I’m convinced that she didn’t look at us for the rest of the show because she saw those signs, which I remember being just very attention seeking, and was disappointed about someone breaking the rules. Finally my pictures of the show were less than great. Due to the limited view and the lights that lit the stage, almost all my pictures came out very washed out or just pictures of Taylor’s butt. There was something I really liked about being in the pit though. The dancers were super interactive and so much fun. I would make eye contact with one of the dancers or one of the back up singers and just jam and dance with them and they would react and just be super open and friendly about it. They were an amazing part of the show and I have to give them so much props. Again I love Taylor so much but for me the Reputation tour was very disappointing. I am grateful for being close enough to Taylor to see her pores but sadly the cons outweigh the pros. I don’t plan to ever get pit seats again, knowing that Taylor will always have a raised stage, which is great because it means you can still see the stage even if the person in front of you is taller than you. I’ve just had much better experiences when I wasn’t in the pit. Yes I loved seeing Taylor up close but I would have liked to see the show as well and I really didn’t get to.
