Andrei Chikatilo, a.k.a Butcher of Rostov and Red Ripper, was a Soviet serial killer who sexually assualted and mutalted a minimum of 52 women from the late 70s to 1990. As you have probably guessed, the majority of his murders were committed in the Rostov Oblas of the Russian SFSR.

Chikatilo was a very awkward kid especially around women. He was impotent and once ejaculated while wrestling with his crush. That’s when he says his hatred for women started as they all laughed at him. He went on to become a teacher and had multiple reported sexual assaults on young girls. This only got worse. Sexual assaults then turned into murders as his 1st victim was a 9 year old girl named Yelena. 

Chikatilo was finally arrested when Soviet cops found evidence linking him to murders, but according to their law could only hold him for 10 days before they had to either charge him or release him. He gave a full confession of every murder he ever committed. One of the things he confessed to was ripping the victim’s genitals, lips, nipples and tongues with his TEETH. 

He was convicted of 52 of the 53 murder charges. Sentenced to death for each of them. The bottom picture is of a severed head of one of his victims used in his trial. He was executed with a single gunshot behind the right ear on Feburary 14.

Multiple fatalities from shooting at Florida high school

A former student opened fire at a Florida high school Wednesday, killing “numerous” people, sending students running out into the streets and SWAT team members swarming in before authorities took him into custody about a mile away.

Frantic parents rushed to the scene and ambulances converged in front of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Live footage showed emergency workers appearing to treat possibly wounded people on the sidewalks.

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office tweeted Wednesday afternoon that “so far we have at least 14 victims.” The tweet added: “Victims have been and continue to be transported to Broward Health Medical Center and Broward Health North hospital.”

Broward County Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie said there were “numerous fatalities.”

The male shooter was identified as Nicolas Cruz, said a U.S. official briefed on the investigation. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the information publicly. Previously, Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel had said the shooter was a former student. He said the shooter was outside and inside the school at points during the attack, and taken into custody “without incident” about an hour after he left the school. Israel said police were waiting for the SWAT team to give them the all-clear so that they could go inside the school. (AP)

I talked to the girl that worked in my uncle’s house. Her name was Priya, and she was the sweetest little thing. When I asked her how she felt about working at my uncle’s house, she was (to my surprise) very ecstatic about it. She enjoyed working there, as she had enough to eat everyday, and enjoyed pleasures such as AC, indoor plumbing and much more.

She said it beats working in a factory where many children are injured daily and work in poor conditions.

If you’re wondering about education and why isn’t she in school, after grade 5, education isn’t free anymore. It costs a lost of money and many families don’t have that.

On February 2nd, 1996, 14-year-old Barry Loukaitis entered Frontier Middle School in Moses Lake, Washington, garbed in a wild west-style gunslinger outfit and a black duster, also armed with a hunting rifle and two handguns. He walked in his fifth period algebra class and opened fire at his classmates, killing two and critically injuring another. He then fatally shot his teacher, then taunted to the alarmed students, ‘’This sure beats the hell out of algebra, doesn’t it?’’ Barry held the class hostage for ten whole minutes before a gym coach came into the room and wrestled him to the floor, and kept him subdued until police arrived. Despite his rather young age, Barry was sentenced to life without parole.

There is sadly little information about the relationship between Jeffrey Dahmer and his brother David; however, what does exist is intriguing.  Jeff was six years older, which from the beginning created a natural distance.  Still, the two boys shared a room until David moved out with his mother after their parents’ divorce, and their father Lionel Dahmer reported in an interview with Larry King that they got along fairly well.  David knew about Jeff’s habit of going out to the woods to beat trees when their parents argued, and he also knew about his activities involving dead animals.  At one point, Jeff decided to play big brother and teach David a lesson in biology by dissecting a dead mole in front of him, placing its heart and liver in formaldehyde.  As the two grew older, though, they drifted apart.  Maybe all the positive attention and favoritism their parents showed David initiated a disconnect, even though Jeff denied ever being jealous.  More likely, Jeff found it more and more difficult to relate to David as they made their way through distinctly different paths in life; he admitted as much to his probation officer in 1990 by stating that he felt he had “nothing in common” with his younger brother because he was in college.  

Various events piling up over the years built a wedge between them, as on several occasions David had the singular misfortune of getting a glimpse of who his brother really was.  David was the first person in the family to discover that Jeff was gay.  If their mother Joyce Flint is to be believed, David uncovered this information by witnessing teenage Jeff naked in bed with another boy.  Considering that Flint’s account has never been corroborated, however, it is at least verifiable that he realized his brother’s sexuality when he found gay pornographic magazines inside Jeff’s suitcase that was shipped home after his army discharge.  Another incident that undoubtedly challenged the brothers’ relationship occurred when a then-adult David visited his grandmother’s house while Jeff was still living there. Since there were no other places to sleep, the two men were forced to share a bed.  Jeff would later say that over the course of the night he “felt the urges and everything to be with someone” and touched his brother.  In Jeff’s own words, David “didn’t go for that at all” and promptly rebuffed him.  

Being molested by one’s older brother puts a bit of a strain on the sibling dynamic.  So does having that same brother arrested for child molestation and later found responsible for the murders of seventeen people.  Incredibly, however, it seems that David forgave Jeff for all of these things, as the two maintained contact by exchanging letters throughout Jeff’s time in prison up until his death.  It should be noted that David did change his last name once the details of Jeff’s crimes came to light, but more likely as a means for a young man to escape the dark shadow surrounding his family history than as a personal rejection of his brother.
