do you resent the way you were raised?

I resent the fact that I didn’t have my dad when I was younger, but Im happy that he left though. The reason why is because my mom stepped up and showed that she could do it.

My mom, because she had been dealt with a shitty card the moment my dad left. He just got up and left us when I was five years old. Who the fuck does that to their family? So she has been through a lot and I respect her for it and I love her, a lot.
