We’ve been reorganizing our apartment like mad the last few weeks! This wall used to have a pegboard full of photos and tchotchkes. We have changed so much in the last few years, we felt as though we needed to declutter to help feel calm in this space. Now every time I walk into this room I can’t help but say “I love it!”. Still a work in progress, but we have been hunting for perfect pieces (more plants!) which takes time. If there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s not to settle.

I made the mistake of watching the first episode of Tidying Up before bed last night. The next thing I knew it was 1am and I was sitting on the floor surrounded by my belongings asking Deacon if they sparked joy. I’ve still got some work to do, but I’m finished with all my clothes (three trashbags full of stuff to donate/throw away later). I’m hoping to do the kitchen/laundry closet by bed tonight. We’ll see.
