I am a writer by trade. I've lost jobs after the start of the AI boom, and I've seen other writers lose jobs for the same reason. While AI may have its uses in other areas, I cannot even begin to tell you how much I am against its use for content writing, art, or other creative creations. No thank you.
I know it seems like the dream to get a 'smart' robot to write/draw your fantasies (and usually, for free!) but please realize that an AI isn't able to create, it's just able to reproduce something (yeah, they just copy the homework and change a few words to get it to pass).
When you're using AI to create art, it's very likely you're stealing and harming artists and their work. Also, the results AI gives tends to be awful.
If you want real, good art, pay a real person for it!

Fair warning, though: I contacted my Senator to oppose a bill six years ago and I got an automated email saying he was going to vote for it anyway and basically told me to fuck myself in the nicest way possible. I still get spammed every week by his campaign team.
