“ Ugh, ” Bee expelled a quiet groan. A hand creeping up, she cupped the side of her head, all movements soft and slow. What the hell happened last night? TONS and TONS of alcohol... clearly --- her aching head told her as much, but events that may or may not have transpired were hazy. She could barely remember a thing… not that she was really trying at this very moment, her primary directive being to keep as still as possible.
A particular face had managed to slip between the seams however, no thinking required. A shorter, feisty brunette with a stomach of steel and the features of a GREEK GODDESS --- Alex. Yes, Alex. She’d spent the entire night with her. And what a night it was… if only she could remember it. A smile managed to make its way onto her face still as trimmed fingernails slipped between tangled, sugar-coated weaves of gold.
She’d pop an eye open to take a peak, look to see if she was still accompanied by the brunette and maybe figure out just where she’d wound up passing out for the night --- but Christ, the room was BRIGHT as SHIT and she hadn’t even opened her eyes yet. FUCK that for now, at least.
A coming ray of sunshine passing over her eyes, meant as a happy hello but interpreted as a giant FUCK YOU, was quick to take her smile away and have her eyes shutting tighter than before. Jesus, had she passed out directly under a heat lamp that some asshole had just walked by and turned on? It didn’t take long for her to sit up in hopes it’d get her out of its path... and it did, but what a goddamn mistake moving AT ALL was. Immediately, her head began to POUND, like it’d just been waiting for her to fuck up. Entire body tensing at the pain, her mouth dropped open. “ Oh… ” She breathed, sick, after that first intense throb.
Finally opening her eyes to a slit, blue hues peered across the area curiously --- vision blurred, the lanky blonde gripped on to the edge of the mattress... only then realizing she was on a bed. A prominent taste of something sweet, fruity, like strawberries as her tongue brushed against the roof of her mouth, furrowing brows as every sensation seemed to hit her at once.
The next painful throb had her deciding to get up. New primary directive: find Tylenol. Blinking the room in, it came slow, but she was fairly surprised when it did as she found the room was her own. Curious... usually she’d wind up everywhere but --- outside on the trampoline, on the tops of cars, in the garden, once on the roof… even she couldn’t explain that one. ‘Outside’ seemed to be the general theme, though.
Everything was nice, quiet, calm… at first; no one around, perfect for the worst hangover ever... up until her roommate’s alarm went off --- the radio started up, a particularly LOUD rock song spilling out of the small speakers into the room. Bee cringed, immediately throwing her hands up over her ears. On her feet, she hurried across to shut it off. Well, she was awake NOW. Horribly, horribly awake. She looked over to her sorority room’s bathroom then, located just a few feet away. Perhaps relief was closer than she thought; there had to be a few pills left from the bottle in the medicine cabinet.
Her aching head had momentarily derailed her train of thought… or at least what little there was of it. She’d found out where she was, her room, now where was the girl she’d partied with all night? The question was answered almost as quickly as it was asked when Bee entered the bathroom to find the brunette passed out in her shower. A small quirk of her brow as she held onto door frame to keep steady; the tall sorority sister flashed a smirk down at the girl before slowly starting over to the sink --- however her attention was deterred once more upon hearing Alex begin to wake.
Eyes shooting over to the girl, body turned to face her. “ Alex…? ” She asked --- tone a little louder than what she would’ve personally appreciated upon first waking up; Bee took a few steps closer to the shower’s opening, “ ...Alex, are you all right? ”
