Okay so I know speculation about Eduardo's father is a fandom staple, but what do we make of Mark's parents? They're not mentioned once but I need to know, like, were they aware of Eduardo? Did they know about what happened when Mark spent summer in Cali? Would they be pissed off knowing what happened after with the depositions?? I've imagined Mark as a freshman calling with his parents too many times and honestly the prospect of him begrudgingly talking about his new friend to them is painful

people don't talk about the possible interpretations of backrooms/liminality as a metaphor for trauma and mental illness nearly enough, I think I am posting this entirely because I saw the film yesterday and I'm still thinking about one scene in particular. And I've barely seen people talk about it after the peak of backrooms/liminal space popularity online (granted I'm not overly involved myself). I'm sure I'm just late to the party but damn what a fucking scene that was Anyways, it just reminded me that I hold this belief for the whole thing in general. That's literally it idk why I'm posting this at all
