that ^ is ruk'un, full name Ruk'un, Famed & Loved(WITH the comma). he comes from the middle of nowhere in northern Elsweyr, and he grew up with a whore of a father and like a billion younger siblings, with only one older

(dont read into their name meanings very much i know that theyre not super canon compliant but i do what i want)

ruk'un has a pretty strained relationship with his siblings, excluding bek'hur, pa'lan, and arbrnet. he used to be really irresponsible and he hasn't really apologized or made up for any of his mistakes, preferring to just disengage entirely

ruk'un's parents are named A'koll and Lii'ja. A'koll's had 5 wives since Lii'ja passed shortly after Ruk'un's birth, and this is a big point of contention amongst the family clan. A'koll runs a trade caravan that transports goods between north and south, and he's the sort of guy who always knows a guy who knows a guy. Lii'ja was a fierce warrior in her prime, but i'm not exactly sure on where and how these two's backstories connect(ignore the blurb on lii'ja's drawing)

ruk'un himself is a flamboyant and tedious late-20-something with a heart of gold. and teeth of gold. he is an author of several books which are quite well known in elsweyr, even to the point where many of them have tamrielic translations that circulate as far as skyrim, much to his delight

ruk'un has an almost obsessive love of skyrim The Country, and went through many trials and tribulations just to get there, which makes his predicament at the start of the story(almost getting his head chopped off and then faced with alduin) REALLY annoying for him!! he's a TOURIST!!!!

ruk'un has had a fascination with skyrim for his whole life give or take, and now that he's there he's making the most of it. he isnt alone either, which is good! very good considering that if left unsupervised ruk'un gets himself into a hell of a lot of trouble, since he is inherently a troublesome type.

ruk'un is a savant for two-handed weaponry and heavy armor, he doesn't waste time with bow and arrow or your paltry one-handed sword, he'd prefer a warhammer! he got his first warhammer when he was ten, picked off the body of a dead nord that he discovered in a ravine full of brambles.

ruk'un loses this ^ hammer to the imperial ambush, and one of his primary arcs is him going and getting it and the rest of his stuff back from them, including..

his horse, Gal'hunah! who he has a special horsegirl bond with and loves to death and would do anything to get back. the only horse big enough to carry his stupid ass in armor

i like to think that season 2 *is* canon and alois's spirit now inhabits ciel's brain, watching through his eyes and trying to influence ciel's actions throughout the rest of the story. what he doesnt realize is that ciel is the ultimate idgaf warrior with a specialty in repression and he does not give a fuck about what alois wants him to do. the reason alois is never brought up again is because ciel blocks any mention of him out and since he's our protagonist it's blocked out for us as well. this is my truth.

alright i just got done with rewatching s2 and i have thoughts;

this idea has less legs than i originally thought it did, completely forgot about the thing with hannah and whatnot

honestly in my head alois's story ended when claude killed him. and after my rewatch tbh i wish it had and they dealt with alois's soul in some other way

can anyone whos watched s1 within the past 15 years and actually remembers the plot tell me if its actually canon that ciel's ring holds his soul??? i literally do not remember that plotpoint at all but s2 practically hinges entirely upon it

i think if i decide to write a fic with this idea ill change what happened at the end of s2 and write like. an expository tl:dr that i can put in the topnote on ao3 or some shit. because i think i can keep most of it but some stuff Has to be changed to make it work

honestly you couldve replaced hannah with a broom and she probably wouldve played the same role as she did in the actual show. i think this is more a problem of misogynistic writing than it is the concept of her character

i think it wouldve been leagues more interesting if it were claude who luka made the contract with, until the very end it felt like they were foreshadowing that but i guess that was just faulty pattern recognition on my part??

i'm a demon!ciel defender. i dont care i think its cool. i think it would be funny to write a fic where its like 5 years into the future and the phantomhive estate has to keep making outlandish excuses for why ciel isnt aging at the rate he should be and it eventually devolves into sebastian and ciel just gaslighting people

If you decide to cancel your commission midway through the process, you will receive a 70% refund, with the remaining 30% going to me as a fee for the labor I already did. Depending on how far I got into creating the piece, I may reduce my fee to 20%. You will also not receive the WIP piece, to discourage people from cancelling on me on purpose to receive art for much cheaper than I am offering.
