2. A steamy kiss

Suddenly Dio was besieged by an unseen will not his own. That was how he found himself giving the Terence that was not the one he was more well acquainted with a rather deep kiss. The vampire pulled back as if coming out of a dream his face showing surprise.

"You will…have to forgive me I…it was a curse."

He's just....going to stand there. Terence is completely speechless right now, maybe a little flustered. No, actually he's really flustered right now. Why did Dio kiss him like that?

"And do you now serve Vanilla instead of me? If Vanilla gets upset that I am feeding on others, let him. Have him bring it up with his master. He knows full well he is not able to provide all forms of sustenance.” The vampire paused, careful to keep his anger below the surface until an opportunity provided itself.

”Terrence. You will stop thwarting my attempts to get blood from others. If you cannot provide, I will provide for myself.”

"I did attempt to provide, however, you wished to get blood from me. I assume you'll cease those attempts if I agree to this?" This is technically him still thwarting Dio's attempts to get blood from someone else, but hey, Terence would like to keep his blood in his body, thank you very much. He doesn't need to be weak and tired while working because his lord wished to have a few sips.

The older man raises an eyebrow at the explanation, keeping a hand over his chin. “So he would rather take your blood… Isn’t that unwise? As far as I know, Lord Dio doesn’t hesitate in killing his victims after taking what he needs from them. What did you do for him to look at you as a potential meal?!”

"That's the problem. I don't know what I did for him to suddenly see me as such. He's been rather clingy lately too, and it's a bit unsettling..."

It's probably the reason he stays in his room most of the time. Of course, he can't do that when guests arrive to the mansion, but they haven't had any visitors for quite a while.

"I’m just trying to offer you some… humor. But do tell, why do you avoid offering him blood?"

"It's more so his own fault. He had everything provided so that he could get blood when needed, but then he began to...get rather picky. I don't know if it's because of Vanilla babying him so much, or something else, but he eventually began to refuse taking what was already there." If Dio was going to act like a child, may as well treat him like one. The vampire shrinking down like that was actually a surprise to him when it happened. Hey, if his lord being tiny meant less trouble, then so be it.

"He has ways other than myself to get blood, but he seems rather determined to get what he wants from me."

Isn't it a shame that we haven't had a proper opportunity to talk before your tiny problem became a rather remarkable monster?

"I am unable to tell if you’re making fun of me or not. He’ll turn back to normal eventually, just have to keep blood away from him." Which would be easy, if Dio doesn’t decide to go for his blood.

"See? Wasn’t too difficult now was that?" Once Terrence opened the door wide enough, Dio took the opportunity to slip inside, walking briskly over to the far wall and closing the curtain so that, if his task took as long, he would not be interrupted by the rising sun. "Now Terrence," The vampire turned back towards his servant. "I think we can both agree that we’re both at fault for the start of my… little problem, and being reasonable, I won’t hold that against you. However, you seemed pretty keen on making sure no one lively gave me their blood and I can’t help but to think there was a reason.” His expression darkened notably. “Care to explain?”

Well that question surely got him. Even he was stumped about as to why he refused to let the other have anyone give him their blood. It's not exactly his fault if anyone falls for his tricks. Maybe he can just give the vampire a bullshit response and hope he believes it. But what's the most likely reasonable answer to this?

"Vanilla wants to be the one to give you blood. Need I remind you that even you are unsettled by him? I'm not going to be the one to tell him no." Good enough. It's not like it wasn't true anyway.
