Ok, so I have a bit of bad news.

I have completely lost the Other Mother as a muse that I can get to. A lot of my interactions were kinda the same, and every reply made it harder and harder on me to find her and channel her into typed words.

This being said, I'm leaving this blog. I know that I have so many threads with all of you, and that there are some that never got a chance to because I had too many.

So, I am sorry if I inconvenience any of you, and I'm sorry for those who were really invested in our threads. I was enjoying a lot of them, but it was becoming a chore for me to respond. If you still want to interact with me, I have a Rose blog from the rpg game Legend of Dragoon, and I am the most active on her. I also have a Bruce Banner blog and a Stahma Tarr blog that I recently created.

Again, I apologize for this, and I am horribly sorry.

“I-If you say so.” She walked in with the other mother, looking around. “Woah…” She murmured quietly.

The Other Mother walked in behind her, casting her arms up into the air. The interior was much larger than expected, golds and reds decorating around the pair with a small circus tent in the middle. There were also cotton candy and popcorn dispensers along the walls.

"Within that tent is a big circus with little mice doing tricks." She explained.

"Nah, You know what, forget it. Well, then what do you wanna do for fun? Any kind of game should probably be fun."

The twins said, now Lin getting the message as well, they had to be careful. She even said that they didn’t have to call her Master. Well, they don’t have to, but that’s normally what they called them. 

The two smiled an innocent identical smile, waiting for an answer.

"Oh, well, alright!" She said, resisting the urge to question them on their strange behavior. "I think I might have a fun game in mind." The Beldam mused, a hand upon her chin.

"Have the two of you ever played hide and seek?" She asked, a smile upon her face. "I love playing that game. You see, I'm both good at hiding and seeking, so it's the perfect game for me! I've only been defeated once." And that one time was with Coraline. The selfish brat that got away.

"So, what do you say? Want to play with me?"

Olivia smiled, reaching out to the doorbell, ringing it. She turned to the Other Mother, a shy smile on her face.

Chuckling, the Other Mother climbed the remainder of the stairs and twisted the door knob. "He's just a circus performer. There is nothing to be afraid of."

Alright, that confirmed it. His father was a disgraced police officer, not a writer, and he really couldn’t see his father ‘doing a bit of everything’ either. Unless, of course, his Other Father was just everything that Tatsuya wanted his real father to be. Succesful; a good role model. After all, Tatsuya never really had a good role model in his life; the only one he had after his father’s disgrace disappeared, leaving him to fend alone again. His brother tried to take his father’s place, but Tatsuya pushed him away at every turn. 

Maybe that’s why this ‘Other Mother’ was so open and forceful; he was angry at his mother for sitting by and letting his father’s disgrace happen.

Tatsuya really didn’t know, and the more he was here, the more muddled and confused his mind became. He desperately tried to grab anything from his memories about how he got here, but nothing came. His brain just told him something was off about this whole situation. 

"…I-I don’t know. Sorry I asked."

"Darling, you look troubled." She mused, her eyebrows furrowing with false concern. The only thing she was truly worried about was him not trusting her and not letting her sew buttons into his eyes at the end.

This was a strange one indeed. Surprise guests were always welcome, but it was so much more convenient to have sent them a doll. Her own button eyes were connected to theirs, and she could see and hear everything that was good in her children's lives as well as everything that was bad. It helped her create a perfect world for the girls and boys that found their way in, and it helped her achieve her goal. 

"Is there anything you want to talk about? You know I'm here for you, and if it's something you're not comfortable speaking with me about, your father is up in the study. The both of us are always willing to listen."

"I see." Morgan went back to sipping his tea, a moment of silence before he smiled up at her.

"That’s okay, mother~. But if I am to spend time with you then I don’t want to see them while I’m here.” Another sip before he set down the cup and raised his fork, driving it into a chicken breast  “Or else it might not end well for them~.”

He moved the piece of chicken to his plate cheerfully, deciding that if he was to have cake he may as well have a meal as well. Everything smelled so good, it reminded him of his childhood back at Ylissetol castle and the large banquets they’d have for their guests.

Still, what was it that she wanted? Love seemed too foreign a concept to him to happen just out of the goodness of a stranger’s heart, even if she did claim she was a creature that existed for that reason.

"I’m not a very good boy, I don’t play very well with others and especially don’t get along when they get between my mother and I.”

"That goes for all my children, darling." She crossed her legs, taking another bite of her food. Evil and malicious intent just radiated off of this boy in waves that caused the Other Mother extreme discomfort in his presence

She had had bad children before. These were children that didn't take their medicine, children that threw stones at dogs and people, children that pulled their sister's pigtails. Those kinds of children. Up until Coraline, there was never a child that passed through her house that could outsmart her and make her feel worried. She didn't like it. She didn't like not feeling in control.

The Beldam smiled to herself as he piled food onto his plate. Technically, it was a huge sign of trust. Many often thought that she was trying to poison them, and she never did. Not only did poison ruin the food, but you can't reap a soul from a body like that and expect it to still be ok to consume.

"That's perfectly fine, Morgan. You will never have to see the others." And soon, if all goes well, you will never have to see again.

⚜|| Somewhere along the way,he must’ve shrieked ‘demon woman!’ or ‘I knew you’d be a wretched beast!’ through the struggle.It didn’t help he only thought it was just a nightmare that real,but he was just plain wrong.He should’ve never tampered with their short fuse,especially at being unarmed to defend.

Backing away in a cowardly stance,Narshen shrunk back when pressing against one of the walls in the new confined prisonment.”B-Bastard monster,I want to know where I am at once!"

"You're in the Other World." She chuckled, a sickeningly evil grin upon her face. "Which means you're in my world." Her chuckle turned into a cackle as she approached the man before her. Now to make a decision. Would she torment him, or would she just get the job done and steal his soul?

Torment.

"I bet you thought you were smart for teasing me like that." She spat, taking another step closer, trapping him against the wall. "I bet you thought it was funny to torture a seemingly helpless woman. It's a shame you didn't learn this lesson before. You may have made it out alive."

{☪} — “Both of those sound interesting! What sort of games and performances though?”

He had titled his head. What sort of performances? He liked all sorts of games, so that wouldn’t be much of a problem. He found this lady pretty friendly, besides the button eyes. For now he could just try to ignore those.

"Well, there are all kinds of games! Card games, board games, dice games... Games like hide-and-go-seek." She smiled. "However, the performances are so much fun to watch! The ladies downstairs are wonderful acrobats, and the man upstairs runs a circus." She grinned, happy that he seemed enthusiastic about this.

"What would you like to do?"

"A little hard to say, seeing as I don’t know what you truly are," Decadus replied, more a statement of fact rather than an attempt to be contradictory or provoke her. The hand that had hold of his chin gripped him more tightly, and he could feel her needle-like fingers begin to pierce his skin; he had to suppress a shiver. Likely he was more than strong enough to free himself from her hold, but he couldn’t quite bring himself to do so, not yet.

Her threat was fierce, tone unyielding, and yet unbeknownst to the creature those words likely had the opposite effect than that which she desired. Unable to help himself, Decadus let loose a groan. It was likely not his place to interfere with things in this creatures world, certain it was not a part of his orders, and yet… “Then I can take that to mean caring for those children is not your true objective after all.”

"You don't know..." She mused, a sickening grin crossing her face. If he didn't know, then he couldn't explain. The children saw her as their loving mother and not this horrible spider beast. He would seem to be lingering on the side of insanity to any that he tried to speak with, and that was if he could convince anyone that there was a pocket world existing just on the other side of a little door.

Her grin faltered slightly when he groaned. Was it possible that he was enjoying this? How strange. "That is for me to know," She wrenched her hand from his face, leaving a few streaks where the needles of her fingers bore into his flesh. It was only to gauge his reaction, however. "and for you to never find out."

"Snapdragons?" The demon inquires, looking over to the rather odd looking plants. They seemed to watch her as she walks past, eyes narrowed. Disdain simply smiles, a glint in her eyes. The plants immediately stop glaring, instead looking elsewhere.

"Well, if they bite, I’ll bite back!" She laughs, skipping over the stone bridge and next to Mother. She admires the garden some more, noting the elated air now emanating off of the other woman. She really loved this garden, didn’t she? If that was the case, then tending it all by herself must’ve been hard work. "Maybe you can teach me about gardening so I can help you, Mother."

"Oh, well, if you bite back, please don't hurt my flowers." She asked, sending a wary glance over at the Snapdragon patch. They appeared unharmed, which set the Mother at ease. For a second she was worried that Disdain had attacked them.

"Oh would you like to?" The Beldam turned, clasping her hands together. "Gardening is so much fun, and it's even better in the rain because you get to play in the mud." She sighed. "Mud is so good for your skin, you know. It being fun to play in is merely a bonus!" She giggled.

"Nya ha! You’re crazy lady. I’ve never had a mother, never will. Even dark magic can’t help that!"

"Never had a mother until now." She replied, getting a bit annoyed with the boy. "I'm your Other Mother, dear."

Olivia reached her arm out, ringing the doorbell. She looked at the Other Mother, blinking.

The Other Mother smiled up at Olivia as she climbed the stairs. "Go on in. You just have to ring the door bell to let him know you're coming."

"I’m going to die either way" she kept her head down afraid of what was hovering above her "I told you, I don’t have anything, not even the body you see now is alive. You will get nothing from this”

Alice grimaced “Plus that’s not very fair. You would have done this for anyone”

Not alive? The Other Mother repeated in her head. What did she mean by not alive? "Do you not have a soul?" She growled, tilting the girls head up so she could look at her properly.

"No child, you are wrong. Most children just come quietly. You, on the other hand, I had to chase."

"Oh good! If you aren’t human I won’t have to worry then." She giggles softly. Not dying was always nice. Someone who she didn’t create to hang out with. Her dolls flock to her, each of them giggling. “Souls of those lost in the Abyss are always added to my collection. Dolls are so much better than humans. They listen and never talk back… Then you can play with them to your hearts content!”

"They are such... lovely dolls." What an interesting way to use a soul. The Beldam needed them to live, and the girl before her used them as playthings. She's not going to lie, they made her uncomfortable.

"How many dolls do you have?" She inquired. What she really meant to ask was how many souls she had captured. If there was a vast amount, maybe the Other Mother could 'borrow' one in a time of need and feast upon its soul

Both? I mean, I'm going back to practice, which means that my time online is constricted to the evening, but it's ridiculously hot outside. Curse southern weather.

Gives us an excuse to jump in the water.
