When you asked Trinity St. James what she wanted to be growing up she’d always reply: a doctor. Anyone could see it. She loved helping others even when she couldn’t help herself. As a third year medical student things are getting increasingly difficult for her as she now faces more responsibility than she can handle. With her mother falling ill and her barely being able to get by financially she’s struggling. The pressure is starting to take it’s toll and it’s making medical school seem almost impossible to complete. She’s slowly watching her dreams slip through her fingers and she’s unsure of what to do, but what happens when she’s gets an offer from world renown MMA fighter, Owen Harris that she can’t refuse. Desperate times call for desperate measures. There’s a fic on fanfiction(.)net that I’ve kept tabs on for years to see if it’s been updated or not. While I’m no longer even in the fandom it’s written for, it just has one of the greatest storylines I’ve ever read. Last time it was updated was 2011.

The other day, I decided to reread the entire thing and leave a very in-depth review of what I thought of each chapter. I also mentioned how I started reading it when I was 13 and am now 21, but always came back to see if it was ever finished because I loved it so dearly.

Today, said author sent me a private message saying that her analytics showed that the story was still getting views even after all these years, but no one ever bothered to leave reviews other than “update soon!!!”, so she never felt motivated enough to finish it. She said that me reviewing every single chapter with lengthy paragraphs made her cry and meant the world to her. She also mentioned that she felt encouraged to write the two remaining chapters needed to complete the story and that she would send me a message the night before she updates the fic.

I’m literally sobbing. I’m so excited :’)

PS: This is shitty and I couldn’t go where I wanted to go without really fucking some shit up since i havent revealed it in BAH

“I mean we aren’t really together now, are we? This isn’t real. For us to be over we’d have to actually be together” Trinity said as she sat up. The covers fell revealing her naked body. 

“How do you feel about me, Trinity?”  Owen asked. He was genuinely curious. This arrangement had been going on for quite some time and he could honestly say he was enjoying her company maybe a little more than he should be, but could you fault him? Trinity was a whole damn package. Jamal had done right by him with her.

“What do you mean?” She asked getting out the bed and retrieving her clothing.

“It’s a straightforward question.”

“I’m still around so you’re cool people, I suppose.” She said as she slipped into her underwear.

Owen chuckled. He had learned a thing or two about Trinity while being in her presence and this was her trying to remain unfazed and have that mental wall up.

“That’s it?”

“I mean what do you want me to say Owen? You’re still playing me and now you’re slinging me good dick so at this rate I might as well be a prostitute. “

Woah! Woah! Woah! Time the fuck out. Did she really just say that crazy shit?

“Have you lost your fucking mind? You think I’m paying you to sleep with me?”

“I mean this shit has gone on long enough. What exactly are you paying me for? We don’t go out like before and you’re not making appearances so what exactly are we doing?”

“I’m not holding you hostage Trinity. You were always free to go so the fact that you stayed and now have the balls to be talking this dumb shit.” He shook his head. “And to think you were a smart girl.”

“Oh please don’t act like you’re fucking high and mighty with your background.“ She spat, hitting exactly where it hurt.

“You know what get the fuck out my house.”

Her laughter filled the room. “You asked me a question and now you’re mad. Whatever Owen.”

He watched her get dressed and watched her walk out his life.
