I can't believe how many people adamantly believe Andre is Jewish solely because of his "excluding Jewish holidays" line because to me it always came off as a joke
Just like how they burnt the swasitika into the ground, (which, no, they weren't doing it to make a point unfortunately . They were solely being edgy, stated in an interview) I took it more so as andre making an edgy comment about wanting Jewish people there for zd, as most Jewish people tend to not go to work or school during big holidays . If he's gonna burn a literal hate symbol into the ground I'd assume he does not like the people that group was targeting very much, even if he was doing it to be edgy
I really really doubt andre was implying he'd call off zd to go and celebrate 😭😭😭😭 not to mention, if Andre was so locked in with his apparent religion that he'd call off a literal shooting for it, I doubt he'd be continuously referring to himself and cal as gods .... massive thing Jewish people don't believe in, having other gods
I also think it would've came up during the scene where they're burning their belongings to prove that it wasn't any religions, books, movies etc etc's that were influencing them to do this. Cal burns his bible (which I also never see anybody talk about, we should all explore dat more) but Andre does not burn anything including religion, the only personal thing being a letter from a girl 😭😭😭😭 and to him that's "everything"
Again, if he's locked in enough to cancel zd over his religion, I'd expect him to prove it wasn't the fault of it , just like how cal did . Cuz why would he want a bad look on something he actively practiced
But yeah I don't want to go on more you get the point sorry if I worded anything wrong ALSO IM NOT AGAINST PEOPLE HEADCANONJNG HE IS JEWISH !!!! Just kinda annoys me when people insist it's canon over that one line . Just my take on it tho !
+ I do know Andre's actor is Jewish but he's playing a character 😭
